TOP ACTIVITY Victoria Falls

This Tour is an absolute MUST on your to do list when in Victoria Falls! The Bridge Chief Engineer Monsieur George Imbault AKA Mr Kim Adams, takes your personally back in time and enlightens you about the challenges and adventures throughout the building process. This performance is so good – you think you sitting on Broadway. Thereafter you make your way to the bridge’s catwalk. Besides the thrilling experience of walking over the 120-year-old catwalks under the bridge, which are giving you spectacular views from feet to ground – you as well have THE BEST VIEWS over the Falls. THANK YOU for this great experience!!!!

Response from the operator: Dear AncillaNCPT Thank you for taking your time to share your experience with us.We are glad that you had enjoyed your trip and we wish to see you again in the near future. Good day! Jimie

Bridge tour great experience

Very well done. Some acting and lots of interesting facts. Walked under the bridge (catwalk)while being tethered with a safety line so only danger might be bumping your head as you'll be dodging under the beams which you have to be agile enough to do. Walk from Zambia to Zimbabwe. Couple of short ladders but under the shade of the bridge which made it quite comfortable. Fantastic views and you might be lucky enough to be there when there's a bungee jumper. Saw a couple of colourful birds from above which I hadn't noticed before. Great experience!

Response from the operator: Dear Shelly B, Thank you for taking your time to review us on Trip Advisor. We are so glad to know that you had enjoyed your Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour. We look forward to host you again in the near future. Best Wishes Jimie

Dizzying Heights of the Victoria Falls Bridge Tour

What a truly unforgettable experience! Our guide on the historic bridge tour of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly engaging, making the tour both educational and entertaining. The breathtaking views from the bridge were nothing short of spectacular, allowing us to fully grasp the immense height and power of the falls. However, for those with a fear of heights, this tour may be a bit challenging, as the perspective from the under carriage of the bridge can be quite dizzying. Despite this, the tour ensures the safety of its participants by providing harnesses and railings on both sides. Overall, this thrilling adventure is a must-do for any history or nature enthusiast seeking an adrenaline rush and a close encounter with one of the world's most awe-inspiring natural wonders.

Response from the operator: Dear GeradineH36, Thank you for taking your time to place a review for us on Trip Advisor. We are glad that you enjoyed the Tour of Victoria Falls Bridge with our Guide. We welcome you again next time when visit Zimbabwe. With thanks Jimie

Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour !: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Victoria Falls.

How much does Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour ! cost?

+

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Victoria Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour ! take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Victoria Falls is not rushed.

Is Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour ! worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Victoria Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour !?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour ! suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour !?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Victoria Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Victoria Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Victoria Falls Historical Bridge Tour ! start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Victoria Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Victoria Falls?

+

On Outty we rank every Victoria Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Victoria Falls Dinner Cruise on the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls Theatre Featuring Simunye: The Spirit of Africa, Zambezi River Class IV-V White-Water Rafting from Victoria Falls. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Victoria Falls?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Victoria Falls?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
