Disappointing and worthless
Our tour guide seemed to be in a rush. The online itinerary suggested 10minutes at each stop and we spent less than 5. She did not give people a chance to take pictures or to ask questions. She walked quickly which is fine for me but some members of the group had difficulty keeping up and she didn’t check that they were okay, behind her, or seem to care if they got lost. Overall it was disappointing and not as picturesque or informative as I had hoped.

Very, very large “small group”
It was described as a small group, language German. There were over 20 and German/English. I'm sorry, but among a small group we imagined something else. Führer was experienced.
Response from the operator: Hallo, es tut mir leid, Ihre Bewertung zu lesen. Danke, Richard

Interesting tour of the city
We really enjoyed the walking tour with our guide Alberto. It was a small, laid back tour with lots of interesting information about the sights.

Tourist Factory, Disappointed with Service
We have chosen a tour of Verona for 2 hours in early July 2022 (booked via the GETYOURGUIDE app which then subcontracts) at 45€/pers. The tour starts well, in two groups with Ulf and another lady as guides. But little by little we feel that we must move quickly, the quality of the comments is not at the rendezvous. The end of the tour goes badly, where in the mess around Romeo and Juliet's balcony, the guide drops us at the entrance forgetting to pass us tickets and flees to her new group, less than 2 hours after starting. We failed to visit, and were called back too late by the agency. Despite the effort of "Ricardo" to Customer Service to explain what happened, we consider not to be treated properly, this is really the tourist factory.
Good morning, as already mentioned, the mistake was made by the employees of Juliet's house who made a mistake in the confusion. they then officially apologized. I don't know what to say else. But if leaving a review that damages our business makes you happy then go ahead. PS: the entrance to the house was at 12:00. you called me 1 hour later, 1pm. You could have bought the tickets in loco and then I would refund them to you .. without wasting 2 hours in phone calls.. you also need to have a little flexibility sometimes..

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Verona.
How much does Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Verona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Verona is not rushed.
Is Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Verona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Verona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Verona and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Verona Unveiled: Authentic Walking Tour & Hidden Secrets start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Verona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Verona?
+
On Outty we rank every Verona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Verona Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class With Free Flowing Wine, Verona Highlights Walking Tour in Small-group, Highlights and hidden gems Verona Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Verona?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Verona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
