    An Unforgettable Vermouth Experience

Nic was an amazing guide. His knowledge of vermouth was outstanding, and his great relationships with the local establishments gave us a truly unique experience. As first-time visitors, his knowledge of Madrid and the surrounding areas helped us feel comfortable and welcomed in this beautiful city. I would highly recommend Nick for this vermouth tour, as well as the other tours he offers. It was a first-class experience from start to finish. 🌟🍷

Response from the operator: Hi India, thanks for the great review. It was an absolute pleasure to have you, Pete and Liam on the tour. We are so glad you felt immersed into the culture and that you had a fantastic evening. We hope you have enjoyed the rest of your time in Madrid and hope to see you back some time soon. Tío Tours.

You think you know about vermouth until to learn from Tio!

Living in Madrid I enjoy drinking vermouth but that’s about it. But sharing the being with Nic, I learned about its history, how it’s made, and how many different types there are! So many good flavors! Wonderful experience tasting with an expert as well. If you and your friends need a evening plan in Madrid, this is a great combination of fun and culture.

Response from the operator: Hi David, thanks for a wonderful review. It was an absolute pleasure to have you and your group on the tour. Thanks for being such active participants. We are delighted you've gone away with a great appreciation of vermouth! Tío Tours.

A personal, informative and tasty tour

I went to the free walking tour with Tio Tours earlier in the week (which I also highly recommend!) which ultimately led to Nick telling me about his night vermouth tour. Being interested in learning about the culture of Madrid and also trying something out of my comfort zone, I decided to book in for this tour. There was only myself and one other person making for a private, intimate and perfectly curated tour, giving Nick more time to answer any questions and explain in depth. The bars we went to were a perfect mix of cozy and busy with delicious vermouth, well outside of the normal touristy areas which made it so much more authentic. Because of the small group in the first bar we went to, where you’d usually try five vermouths, we had eight including some extremely rare and limited edition vermouths, put on by our excellent host Luìs for which I am incredibly privileged and grateful for his incredible hospitality and knowledge on vermouth. There are couple of spots we could choose where to go, depending on the vibe or what we were wanting to do which made the tour more personalised. The dinner at the last bar was the cherry on top and the food itself was delicious. I only have one critique: our tour guide needs to scrap his Dry January and get on the turps with his guests :)

Response from the operator: Hi Daniel, thanks for this cracking review! It was an absolute pleasure to have you on both of these tours. It makes our job substantially easier when guests are interested and curious, as you were. We are delighted you had a great time and that you felt fully immersed into Madrid's vermouth culture. We hope you can return to Madrid soon! Tío Tours.

    An amazing Vermouth tour!

If you're at all interested in Vermouth, you'll love this tour. Nick is very knowledgeable and a great host. We started at the Mercado de San Fernando and then worked our way over to the La Latina neighborhood, stopping at several nice places for Vermouth and delicious Tapas on the way. Each one had something unique to offer and opened my eyes to the wide variety and rich history of Vermouth in Madrid. I had an amazing time and I would definitely take this tour again.

Response from the operator: Hi Urban, thanks for this great review. It was a pleasure to have you on the tour that evening. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the delicious vermouth that we tried and also for sharing some of your amazing stories. We are delighted you felt immersed and one day we hope to see you back in Madrid! Tío Tours.

Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Vermouth and Vibes - Madrid's Hidden Vermouth Bar Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
