    Venice Highlights on Foot

Very informative and easy to adapt to your own schedule. However, Venice is a tough city to navigate on your own. There were many course corrections due to canals, bridges, and blind alleys.

    The information was...

The information was interesting and made it easy to find the highlights! We sometimes struggled finding the designated points and when you miss one in the middle, start wandering and come across another it's a bit frustrating. We learned to always do a 360 because they might be behind you! Overall, worth it for a single person. It would help if there was a list of the pictures you could go to so if you missed one you can still continue.

Response from the operator: It sounds like you mastered the secret Venice survival skill: the full 360° spin. Honestly, not even gondoliers teach that one. Our points can indeed hide like shy pigeons, and when you skip one, they sometimes pretend they never existed — classic Venetian drama. We hope your next stroll through Venice feels more like a smooth canal ride and less like a treasure hunt designed by Marco Polo.

    Beautiful and charming audio guide.

This audio guide was wonderful; it manages to capture all the magic and mystery of the city from the very first moment. I loved how it combines stories about palaces and canals, legends of sailors and merchants, and anecdotes about the daily life of Venetians. Walking while listening to the narration makes you feel like the city is whispering in your ear. A beautiful, well-structured, and charming audio guide that allows you to discover Venice from a unique perspective, at your own pace and with all its spirit.

Response from the operator: Thank you for such a wonderful review! We’re thrilled that the Venice audio guide let you feel the magic and mystery of the city and enjoy its blend of legends, history, and everyday Venetian life. It’s great to know that the storytelling and structure made you feel truly immersed while exploring at your own pace. We hope you’ll choose TouringBee audio guides again on your future adventures!

Highlights and "must see" sights for Venice visitors

Good comprehensive tour with all the must-see items in Venice. History lessons and traditions and cultural knowledge included. Nice to be able to pause between stops to peruse and explore on our own and would have liked to have a nudge in the direction of the next item (to continue, turn left and cross the first bridge; or, go to the second alley to start the walk to our next stop). All in all, a good long and informative walk!

Response from the operator: We’re glad that the TouringBee audio guide of Venice helped you enjoy the city and its highlights. We hope that your next experience with TouringBee will be even smoother and worthy of a 5-star rating.

Convoluted access to the audio guide.

The audio was interesting and easy to listen to. The geolocation sometimes lags a little bit (which could have been my phone) and the map view is angled as opposed to directly overhead, which occasionally made it difficult to see which side of buildings one should be on. The starting point is on the waterfront, not inside a building, as shown. Don't bother going through Viator. Just get the guide directly from Touringbee. You'll be told to use a confirmation code that begins with 2 letters. However the letters aren't needed: leave them off and use the number only. Overall it's ok.

Response from the operator: We're glad you enjoyed the audio content and appreciate your tips for future users. We hope you'll give TouringBee another try in the future — we'd love the chance to turn 3 stars into 5!

Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone cost?

    +

Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Venice Walking Tour with Audioguide on Your Smartphone start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
