    About this experience

The short time generally allowed to cruise passengers to go ashore as their ship is in the harbor, would seem incompatible with the philosophy of the “traveler”. One would think that short time inevitably means haste, forcing shore excursionists to dash through the city as hasty “tourists”… well, that is not true! You can visit Venice like a local even with little time available: you only need a “Friend” by your side! Please let a real Venetian welcome you and accompany you to your chosen destination, in the easiest and quickest way. Let me introduce you to this city, providing you with the best information to appreciate it at fullest, as well as tips on how to move, where to eat, where to shop etc. A shore excursion in Venice is not complete without Saint Mark’s Square, I know, but let us get there through the less touristic routes, those that your travel companions will certainly miss by jumping immediately on the shuttle or blindly following the yellow signs around. Be Venetian !

Venice insider tour - A Must!!

Nadia was amazing! So fun, so interesting! She let us in know the fun facts you would only learn from a 6th generation Venetian! We had a great tour around town (skipping the crowded public stops) and on to a great grand canal tour via private water taxi! She did help us get fabulous family photos to forever remember our experience. Did I mention, she also treated us to a coffee and pastry, walked us right in to a local pizza joint that had a line out the door that we wanted to visit after our tour? Everyone around town knew Nadia, she is a local legend! She made our Venice trip!

    A blast from the past

If you want to visit Venice, Nadia is the right person. It will make you discover, intrigue, have fun off the beaten track. Immersed in multiple pieces of information that will take you back in time. Nadia reveals and engages you with the secrets of a city explaining with anecdotes and unknown stories the origins of a language that still characterizes her dialect. Excitement and amazement in combining well-known and popular routes with lesser-known itineraries.

Response from the operator: Grazie Lorenzo è stato bello incontrarti ,ancora di più leggere le tue emozioni Il prossimo tour per voi sarà L'Arsenale , la storia della costruzione delle flotte che ha fatto di Venezia una potenza marittima .Ancora una volta ci addentriamo alla scoperta di una Venezia insolita .Scopriremo come ha fatto Venezia a diventare Regina dei Mari..alla prossima avventura !!Vi aspetto Un bacio Nadia

Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $488 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Venice Shore Excursion Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
