What you get

    About this experience

Hey, I'm Daniel. For over 10 years I shot for Italian high fashion, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana among them. But what I wanted to photograph was spontaneity, real people. That's what I do now, and it makes me happy. I photograph couples, families, solo travelers and the moments that deserve to be remembered. As soon as you book I'll write to you: I like knowing who's coming and what you'd love to take home from this trip, and I build the experience around that. We meet outside your hotel, or wherever you prefer. We'll see the most iconic Venice and then the quiet one, where the lives of those of us who live here move slowly. Don't worry about posing: I'll give you simple directions, and after ten minutes it starts to feel natural. Planning to propose? I really know how to help! Ninety minutes, around 45 edited photos. Three hours, around 100, with room for a Venetian costume, a gondola, or simply slowing down. You get your edited photos in five working days, for print and for your phone.

An unforgettable Venice experience. Far beyond a photoshoot

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience in Venice thanks to this amazing photographer, who turned out to be so much more than just a professional. He picked us up directly from our hotel and took us on a personalized walking tour of the city, sharing fascinating insights and making us see Venice through a truly authentic lens. He went above and beyond by even organizing a gondola ride for us. Traveling with children, we especially appreciated how thoughtful and patient he was, he even brought bubbles for the kids! He was kind, funny, incredibly patient, and attentive to every detail, making us feel comfortable from the very beginning. To top it all off, he also recommended and accompanied us to the best “cicchetteria” in Venice, giving us a true taste of local life. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to bring home not just beautiful pictures, but real memories of Venice.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review. It was such a pleasure spending the day with you and your family in Venice. I am so glad the kids enjoyed the bubbles and that you got to experience some real Venetian flavors along the way too. Wishing you all the very best and hope to see you again on a future trip to Italy.

    Stunning Family Photos!

Daniel is truly an exceptional photographer, and our family of four could not have been happier with our Venice photo session! From the very beginning, he communicated clearly about timing and locations, which made planning the rest of our day so easy and stress-free. The entire experience felt relaxed, personal, and memorable. Daniel guided us through several beautiful spots around Venice — including charming quiet corners away from the crowds as well as a few iconic locations that perfectly captured the magic of the city. He shared so much knowledge about Venice along the way as we walked to each location. Most importantly, the photos turned out absolutely stunning. Daniel captured our family so naturally and beautifully, and the images perfectly reflect the joy and magic of our trip. He was professional, kind, easy to talk to, and incredibly respectful throughout the entire session. If you are visiting Venice and want photos that truly capture the beauty and emotion of your experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Daniel. This was one of the highlights of our trip!

Response from the operator: Dear Lori, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Meeting your family and guiding you through Venice was an absolute pleasure! I am truly glad that you enjoyed our session and that the photos captured the magic of your trip. Knowing that I contributed to making your visit special is the most rewarding part of my work. Thank you again for choosing my service. I wish you all the best and hope to welcome you back to Venice someday! Warm regards, Daniel

Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer cost?

    +

Prices start at $545 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Venice: Private Photoshoot with a Local Photographer start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
