Unforgettable Night Photography Experience in Venice
It was a wonderful experience. During the three hours of the Venice Night Photo Tour, we had the privilege of discovering the unknown beauty of Venice, and we learned new features on both the iPhone and the camera. The guide was excellent — communication was clear, and he quickly understood our photography level and what we were looking for. I would recommend the tour to photographers of any skill level, and we will absolutely book another tour on our next visit.
Response from the operator: Really pleased you enjoyed the Venice night tour. Great to hear you discovered new corners of the city and picked up useful techniques on both phone and camera. Thanks for the recommendation and we would be delighted to welcome you back on your next visit.

The real Venice
Marco led us on a great tour through some of the “non-touristed” neighborhoods of Venice, away from San Marco or the Grand Canal, where ordinary Venetians live. We saw people grabbing a coffee before rushing to work, children walking to school, shops setting up for the day ahead, etc. We got some wonderful photos of these neighborhoods. We came away with a better idea of Venice as a living city, how it has been home to many for the last thousand or more years. All of this was leavened with Marco’s wonderful conversation and perspective!
Response from the operator: Really glad you enjoyed exploring the quieter neighbourhoods of Venice with us. It is great that the morning rhythm of the city and its everyday life gave you such meaningful photographs and a deeper sense of Venice as a living place. Thanks for joining us.

Great night photography tour of Venice
I was visiting Venice for just a couple of days and figured an efficient way to photograph Venice would be to sign up for a photography tour, particularly for the evening. We met up with our guide Claudia at the designated meeting spot with no problem, and she had a number of sites to hit, perfectly timed with golden hour, sunset and blue hour. She also asked if there were specific spots that we wanted to hit, and incorporated into the walk as well. As a local, she was able to show us parts of Venice that were not in our guidebook, and she easily navigated us through the labyrinth of streets and canals with ease. She also provided additional locations that we could go to on another evening. Overall, I highly recommend.
Response from the operator: So pleased you enjoyed photographing Venice with us and that the timing, locations, and local insights helped you capture the city at its most beautiful. It’s wonderful to hear the experience gave you both stunning shots and inspiration for more exploring.

Excellent Nighttime Venice Photo Excursion With Claudia
Claudia was fantastic! She was very patient with us and knew all of the best places to take photos - many off the beaten path! We certainly wouldn’t have seen as much of Venice or understood how to take good night photos without her keen and artistic eye! Thank you, Claudia, for sharing your expertise!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We're delighted you enjoyed discovering Venice and learning night photography with us. It’s wonderful to hear the experience helped you see the city in a new light!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Venice Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
