    Taxi from Airport was...

Taxi from Airport was excellent. However water taxi just dropped us off at dock about 20 minute walk from hotel with no instruction how to get hotel.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced with the water taxi service after your excellent airport transfer. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the lack of clear instructions and the frustration this caused. This is certainly not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we are looking into this matter with the utmost seriousness. To help us investigate what happened and address it with the service provider, could you please provide us with your reservation number and the date of your arrival?

    A great five days away

We thought the airport was a short taxi drive from the boat, maybe 5min but no,, 25 min and a ten min boat to our hotel, all very efficient but we give the impression of a longer boat ride. And it was a fairly high cost for this transfer. It’s best to walk from the airport to the water taxis and queue up or pre book For a better more memorable experience. Also the Gondola experience can be pricey but you can experience the same by going next to the Gritty palace hotel and crossing the Grand Canal For 2 Euros each

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your concern with us. We take your feedback very seriously and are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please include your reservation number in this section. Our team will be happy to assist you.

To Venice Hotel pick up and drop off

They were waiting at the airport with a name and a very nice SUV. Plenty of room for the luggage. They took us to the water taxi port and helped us onto the water taxi to get to our hotel very convenient! I would definitely use them again

Response from the operator: We are so happy to read your feedback and to know that we could assist you with your transport needs! It’s wonderful to hear that you found our service so convenient. Your recommendation means a lot to our team. We hope to see you again on your next trip!"

    Not cool/ shady in Italy

The app went down the morning of our boat trip to Moran and Burano island in Italy. The night before when o booked it, we knew of the general area where we were supposed to meet. We were there 1/2 before the meeting time. When I tried to open the app, to see the exact meeting place it would not open. It would not open for over an hour. All our other apps and internet opened without a problem. So I’m saying it was their app problem. We asked everyone we came in contact with and all people who worked on that dock where is the viatar Murano and Burano meeting place at 9:20 for boat ride? If they did not speak English, we would not find it. If they spoke English, they never heard of the App. There clearly were absolutely no markings , signs, booths or banners indicating where it was. We tried in vain to ask shop owners, boat crews.. to no avail. The App would not open. Now being past 9:30, we knew we would not get the boat. After trying every few minutes to open the app, with no success after o e hour and 10 minutes it opened. When I read where the meeting place was, it was at the church on the waterfront right where we were! Clearly absolutely positively no markings!!!! None! If they had a booth or anything we were seconds from it!!!! I immediately contacted the host on the app. I explained the situation and told them we were still there ! Please get us on the next boat or any boat that day. Explained the situation that their app was not working. They said they were all full but we could come the next day. Well, we are leaving at 6:00 am to catch a cruise ship and we can’t! Please today! Said they were full. I said I would want my money back. You had no clear markings even if the app was down. We were there 1/2 hour early. They said no. I will be disputing this with my credit card company for sure

Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi) cost?

    +

Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi) take?

    +

Plan for about 0.6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi)?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 0.6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Venice Marco Polo Airport private arrival transfer (Includes private Water Taxi) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
