Do NOT use Bonjourno Tours ever

Scam / Do NOT use this company under any circumstance. My family and I traveled to Italy and visited Rome for two days. We booked a tour through Viator who employed Bounjourno Tours as a middleman. If you, like us, are looking forward to what is probably a,once in a lifetime tour, DO NOT use Viator or Bounjourno Tours. We booked a Vatican/Sistine chapel tour at 8:45 the morning of our departure (3rd day in Rome). All was fine until the morning of our tour, I woke up to a cancelation 3 hours before we we set to arrive. Customer service was useless. They could only 'apologize' for the 'technical issue' that they couldn't describe. So, please, if your family is like ours and traveled 12 hours do NOT under any circumstance use this company. You will regret it

Response from the operator: Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet expectations and deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your tour. We understand how important these experiences are, especially when traveling far for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. We strive to provide excellent service, and we are continuously working to improve. We would appreciate any further details or suggestions you may have to help us serve you better in the future. Kindly send your suggestions to our email: info@buonjornotours.com Thank you for your understanding and patience. Best regards, Buonjorno Tours Team

As promised in the description. Satisfied!

We chose this option as the tickets on the official Vatican Museum website were sold out for the dates we were in Rome/Vatican City. The tickets were pricier than the tickets sold by the Vatican Museum itself, but as promised they got us into the Vatican Museum and relatively fast. There is a short queue for ‘skip the line’ tickets, but this queue is constantly moving and considerably shorter than the queue for people who don't have a skip the line ticket. Their customer service also answered my questions in a clear and timely manner through the Viator chat. As promised, we received our official tickets by email the day before we were visiting the Vatican Museum (after 16:00). Once you have entered the museum you can stay as long as you’d like. We spent a good 6 hours inside, enjoying all the beautiful and stunning artwork, wandering around the different rooms/galleries and enjoying a drink at Bistrot La Pigna, located in the Courtyard of the Pinecone. If the tickets on the official Vatican website are sold out for the date you plan to visit, then this is definitely a good option as you shouldn’t miss the Vatican Museum when in Rome/Vatican City!

Response from the operator: Dear valued customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that you found our skip-the-line tickets to the Vatican Museum to be a convenient option during your visit to Rome/Vatican City. We understand the importance of seamless access to such iconic landmarks, especially when faced with sold-out tickets on the official Vatican Museum website. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're glad we could assist in ensuring you had a memorable and enjoyable visit. We appreciate your kind words regarding our customer service team's responsiveness via the Viator chat platform. Providing clear and timely assistance is integral to our commitment to excellence, and it's rewarding to hear that we met your expectations in this regard. Furthermore, we're thrilled that you had ample time to explore and immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring artwork and galleries within the Vatican Museum. Your feedback reaffirms our belief in the value of offering flexible and unhurried experiences for our customers. Should you have any further feedback or suggestions to enhance our services, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@buonjornotours.com. Your input is invaluable to us as we continuously strive to improve and exceed expectations. Once again, thank you for choosing Buonjorno Tours. We look forward to welcoming you back for more unforgettable experiences in the future! Warm regards, Buonjorno Tours Team

Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets cost?

+

Prices start at $52 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets take?

+

Plan for about 3.1 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3.1-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 3.1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Skip the line Tickets start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

+

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

+

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
