Festive Dinner Cruises
We went to the Harbour Christmas Cruise and loved it! Food was delicious and there was live music as soon as we boarded. A great activity to do to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones over dinner and cruise to enjoy the evening scenery!

A Magical Year End Celebration on the Water
We had the best time on the Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruise! We were introduced to this experience by the fabulous Alejandra Ortiz and knew right away it was exactly what we needed to celebrate the year-end. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest staff and guided to our seats, complete with a personalized sign featuring our company name. The staff’s attention to detail and attentive service made us feel truly spoiled. The live music kept us entertained, and the beautiful views of Vancouver's skyline during the cruise made the evening magical. The food was excellent, and I especially appreciated the festive holiday menu offerings. It was such a special night, and we are so grateful for the effort that went into making our 2024 business celebration one to remember. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience!

Tis the Season to be Jolly
What a perfect start to the Christmas Season and to get into the spirit of Caroling together on a boat. A perfect way to experience the Christmas sights & sounds of Vancouver City & harbour from the charmingly lit up Princess Harbour Cruises boat. Charming starts with the perfect hostess Josephine who could be or should be a descendant of the original Josephine Baker of yester years...Enchanting. The buffel dinner is delicious with a great variety of salads, meats and vegetables. Mashed potatoes “ like mother use to make”. Great friendly & attentive service by the staff. The choir of 4 sets the right tone starting at the entrance to set the mood. After dinner the 4 singers get everybody to join in caroling together with all other revelers on board. Everybody gets a song book with lyrics to join in. A splendid evening spend with like minded merrymakers, making for a Merry Christmas time.

Twinkling Lights & Singing Delights
This was my first time doing the Carol Ships Dinner Cruise with Harbour Cruises. I have been on all their other dining and tour cruises but this was one gave you a warm fuzzy feeling and definitely got you into the holiday spirit, which I love! Josephine is such a sweetheart and always makes you feel welcome. I always enjoy seeing her and love walking into the office to be greeted by her and her staff. They are all so friendly and helpful! Once stepping onto the Harbour Princess, you are surrounded by Christmas lights and beautiful blue ceiling lights. We were sat at our table and greeted by the lovely wait staff. Everyone had smiles and were very friendly. Once again, gave you the feeling of warmth and comfort. The carolers had such beautiful voices and if you feel awkward and embarrassed like me, especially with no "liquid courage", they will hover over you jokingly to get you involved. It was fun and we went along with it, of course! My boyfriend is pescatarian and I prefer fish over turkey and don't eat pork so I was glad they were able to accommodate a salmon dish as our main dish. The mashed potatoes were so smooth and creamy and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I loved each of their salads, especially the chickpea one! I was far too full to be able to have any dessert, but my boyfriend really liked the cheese cake. After our meal, we went upstairs to the outside viewing deck. They had one small upper deck that was basically just big enough for the two of us. We got to enjoy a romantic moment alone, looking at all the lights surrounding us...BC Place, Science World, decorated trees at English Bay, Lions Gate Bridge, Canada Place and more. It was cold but worth the views! All in all, a lovely experience filled with Christmas cheer!

Interesting but not really special
It's an interesting program but not really special. Limited choice of food and view outside just an ordinary one.

Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vancouver.
How much does Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises cost?
+
Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vancouver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vancouver is not rushed.
Is Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Vancouver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vancouver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vancouver and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Vancouver Holiday Festive Dinner Cruises start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vancouver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vancouver?
+
On Outty we rank every Vancouver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Vancouver Lookout, Epic Electric Bike Tour of Vancouver, Whistler, Sea to Sky Gondola, & Shannon Falls Tour from Vancouver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vancouver?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vancouver?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
