Magic day out
We had a beautiful day with Constanza ( Connie) on our trip Her knowledge and generosity of sharing all things Chilean made our trip very special. The views on the walk were outstanding as was the lunch and beer at the end. Special mention needs to be made of the pie, pastel de choclo which really hit the spot. We loved the vineyard afterwards and felt like we had learnt so much about Santiago and Chile in general. Connie made the entire trip very special. Nga mihi nui Sally and Fletcher
Response from the operator: Hi Sally, I'll for sure let Coni know! Thanks for these comments. Im glad you enjoyed Cajón del Maipo, its a beautiful gateway deep into the Andes. And yes, the pastel de choclo is one of my favourites too! There's so much more to see, and we'd love to have you back anythime.

Art, culture and wine all in one say
Unforgettable Day Trip to Valparaíso & Casablanca – A Perfect Blend of Culture, Coast, and Wine! This full-day tour to Valparaíso and Casablanca Valley was nothing short of amazing — a perfect mix of coastal charm, vibrant street art, and world-class wine, all made even better by our brilliant and friendly guide who truly made the experience unforgettable. We started the day with a scenic drive through the beautiful Chilean countryside before arriving in Valparaíso, the colorful and historic port city. Our guide brought the city to life with incredible stories, local insights, and an obvious love for Valparaíso’s unique spirit. From the quirky hillside funiculars to the stunning murals of the open-air museum, every stop was full of character and history. We wandered through winding streets and alleys, stopping for photos, coffee, and hidden viewpoints that we never would have discovered without a local’s touch. In the afternoon, we headed to the Casablanca Valley, one of Chile’s premier wine regions, known especially for its crisp whites and elegant cool-climate reds. The wine tour at the vineyard was informative and engaging — we learned about the winemaking process from vine to glass and tasted several exquisite wines with a backdrop of rolling vineyards. The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and truly relaxing. Our guide was fantastic from start to finish — warm, knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly accommodating. They created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day, balancing fun with insight, and making sure everyone had a great time. This was the perfect day trip from Santiago — ideal for anyone wanting to experience Chile’s coastal charm and rich wine culture in one go. Highly, highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Hi Angela, Thanks for your lovely review! we'll forward it to Coni, she'll love to read it, as she did say you were really lovely travellers. Thanks so much

Great private tour
This was a wonderful tour customized to our interests. Rodrigo was so knowledgeable and passionate about the art and architecture in Valparaiso. He even organized a private boat tour around the harbor. Completely with the price.
Response from the operator: Thanks Janice! Rodrigo will be very happy to hear your review. We're really glad you enjoyed tour day!

Wonderful experiences. Great guides.
We had five days in Santiago before going to Easter Island. The company arranged pickup from airport, city tour, Valparaiso, vineyard visiting and Andes hiking. Each day was great. The guides spoke perfect English, very informative and created fun days. This was very safe. Very unique. Recommend the company very highly.

Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.
How much does Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago cost?
+
Prices start at $325 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.
Is Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Valparaiso & Casablanca Wine Tour: Private Day Trip from Santiago start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santiago?
+
On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santiago?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santiago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
