    • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
    • IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ARCHES NATIONAL PARK: A timed-entry ticket and a valid park pass or entrance-fee payment are required during the timed-entry season. Reserve your ticket well in advance, as availability may be limited. Parking lots at popular trailheads can fill before 9:00 AM, and the park may temporarily restrict vehicle access for approximately 3–5 hours until congestion decreases.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ZION NATIONAL PARK: From March through November, private vehicles are generally not permitted on Zion Canyon Scenic Drive while the park shuttle is operating. Use headphones to listen to the audio tour while riding the shuttle, and redeem the same password on a second device for easier listening. From December through February, private vehicles may be allowed on certain dates when the shuttle is not running. Angels Landing requires a permit obtained through a lottery, so save or download your permit and plan your hike in advance. Other popular hikes, including The Subway and some routes through The Narrows, may also require permits.
    • Easy to use: GPS-triggered audio plays automatically along the route for a hands-free experience.
    • Private tour: Explore in your own vehicle without crowded buses or large tour groups.
    • At your own pace: Start anytime and pause for hikes, picnics, photos, or scenic stops.
    • Works offline: Once downloaded, the tour works using GPS without Wi-Fi or cellular service.
    • Good value: One purchase covers everyone in your vehicle, not each person separately.
    • More ways to save: Choose a single tour, a nearby bundle, or access to 200+ tours.
    • Download in advance: Download the Tour Guide app by Action and tour while connected to Wi-Fi or a strong cellular signal.
    • Follow the route: Begin at the suggested starting point or join anywhere along the route shown in the app.
    • Lifetime access: Preview the tour before your trip and revisit the stories, photos, and details afterward.
    • Supported devices: iPhone with iOS 15+, Android with version 9+, or a GPS-enabled iPad/tablet with cellular capability.

    Majestic Views

We toured Arches on our way in from Salt Lake City. It was a very hot day! It was nice to be able to sit in a cool car while the narrator informed us about the area. The sites were amazing! We could get out along the tour & take photos or hike a trail. We went to Needles on our way to Kanab. We went to Zion & Bryce Canyon. Zion was a little different. You had to hop on a shuttle to get to different hikes. We chose 2 of the easiest hike as we are seniors. Bryce was my favorite!! It was just Beautiful!!

Response from the operator: Hi there, thank you for taking my Utah Mighty 5 National Parks GPS driving audio tours. I’m so glad the tour helped you enjoy Arches, Needles, Zion, and Bryce Canyon while learning about the areas along the way. It sounds like a wonderful trip, and I’m happy the flexibility let you stay cool in the car, stop for photos, and choose hikes that worked best for you. Happy exploring!

Well worth the investment - Helpful information

We found the GPS/Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour of the Big 5 Utah National Parks very helpful. When we intentionally opened the app, the GPS pulled up the Tours when we arrived. I would recommend this service, and would use it again for other tours.

Response from the operator: David, I’m glad my Utah Mighty 5 National Parks GPS Tours helped. It’s great the GPS worked smoothly and triggered the tours automatically, making exploring easier. For more parks, check out my US West Tour Bundle, including Crater Lake, Mesa Verde, Saguaro, Death Valley, Olympic, Sequoia, and more. Happy exploring!

    Seems to drop gps...

Seems to drop gps readings and stop working occasionally Have used guide along app with much more success

Response from the operator: I’m sorry my Utah Mighty 5 National Parks GPS Audio Driving Tour did not work as smoothly as expected. The tour works offline once downloaded, so I’d like to better understand what happened. Did the audio stop completely, or did the GPS-based narration only pause in certain areas? Please reach out so I can help troubleshoot and walk you through the steps. I’m available daily from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.

    Great time

The self guided tours worked out great. I linked my phone to the cars radio and the tour started based on our location. It was as if we booked a tour guide, but it was on our time schedule. Just follow the instructions for the tour and it worked out without a any problems. I am in my 70's and it was easy.

Response from the operator: Daniel, I’m really happy to hear that my Utah Mighty 5 National Parks GPS Driving Audio Tours worked so well for you. It’s great that connecting your phone to the car made it feel like having a tour guide, but on your own schedule—that’s exactly my goal. I especially appreciate you mentioning how easy it was to use, for any age. If you’re planning more national park adventures, my US West National Parks Driving & Walking Audio Tour Bundle is a fantastic option. It includes amazing parks like Crater Lake, Mesa Verde, Saguaro National Park, Death Valley, Olympic, Sequoia, and more. Happy exploring!

Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bryce Canyon National Park.

How much does Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours cost?

    +

Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bryce Canyon National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bryce Canyon National Park is not rushed.

Is Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bryce Canyon National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bryce Canyon National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bryce Canyon National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Utah Mighty 5 National Parks Self-Guided Driving Audio Tours start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bryce Canyon National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bryce Canyon National Park?

    +

Bryce Canyon National Park draws visitors for its landscapes, wildlife and guided outdoor experiences. Outty tracks every bookable tour here, scores it with the Outty Ranking, and shows what is worth your time, from full-day guided trips to short scenic outings. On Outty we rank every Bryce Canyon National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Scenic Tour of Bryce Canyon, Peekaboo, Spooky and Dry Fork Slot Canyon Tour, Bryce Canyon Hiking Challenge. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bryce Canyon National Park?

    +

Late spring through early fall for full access and the widest tour availability, with quieter trails in the shoulder weeks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bryce Canyon National Park?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
