Looking forward to a next photo tour

The urbex photo tour by Central Tour in collaboration with Dutch photo tour operator Hanzebeeld really appealed to me in advance, but the reality was even better than I expected. The interesting urbex locations, the time we got to 'land' and take pictures well planned and inspiring. The hotels, the food, were all carefully selected by Nvard and in perfect order. Nvrad is also extremely knowledgeble about Armenia, it was a joy to listen to her talking about Armenian history and her network seems unlimited. I am really looking forward to a next photo tour with Central Tour / Hanzebeeld.

Unique experience!

Central tours, Nvard, is a very knowledgeable and patient tour guide. What makes her special is her extensive knowledge of the history of the country and the region. She is smart, serious and often funny, speaks excellent English and knows the country like the back of her hand! Our Urbex locations were perfectly organized and in case of problems, thanks to a very extensive network, Nvard knows how to solve it quickly. Hotels, lunch and dinner were great: cozy, fine locations, well cared for and great food.

Amazing Urbex Armenia, Just do it!

Thanks Nvard of Central Tour Armenia, what a well Urbex tour you organized with Hanzebeeld. All the different places we visited, the sanatoriums, the hospitals, the fac tories, it was amazing. It must have a very well prepared tour, so that we could visit these wonderful urbex places, without any graffiti. And also all the restaurants or the places where we ate were great, and gave us a feeling of the Armenian culture. Never we had to wait long , it was so well prepared, Thank you Nvard, you were great!!

Dream Urbex locations

Made an Urbex photo trip to Armenia in March. And this one was great in every respect, beautiful urbex locations, interspersed with a visit to a monastery and beautiful nature along the way, with explanations about what we all saw. Nice hotels, tasty and good food at special restaurants.

Urbex photo tour in Armenia: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yerevan.

How much does Urbex photo tour in Armenia cost?

+

Prices start at $1727 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yerevan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Urbex photo tour in Armenia take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yerevan is not rushed.

Is Urbex photo tour in Armenia worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Yerevan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Urbex photo tour in Armenia?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Urbex photo tour in Armenia suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Urbex photo tour in Armenia?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yerevan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yerevan and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Urbex photo tour in Armenia start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yerevan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Yerevan?

+

On Outty we rank every Yerevan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Group Tour: Lake Sevan (Sevanavank), Dilijan (Goshavank, Haghartsin), Group tour: Khor Virap, Noravank, Areni Winery and Cave, Group Tour: Garni, Symphony of Stones, Geghard, Lavash Baking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Yerevan?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Yerevan?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
