A nature filled break from the city
Had a great afternoon with Sergio and Cristina (I hope I haven’t got your name wrong!) over 4 hours exploring the Tigre Delta by boat in the sunshine - don’t forget to bring a hat and sunscreen! I am really glad I experienced this and chose Sergio. He’s a really fun, enthusiastic and kind man with a lot of knowledge that he loves to share about the Delta. Cristina did a great job with translating to English and all 3 of us had a lot of fun :) Side note: arriving to Tigre by train is really easy and cost effective - with trains running frequently. Retiro is the main station for the B.A centre. Make sure you have a SUBE card if you haven’t already (you can get it at the transport office at Retiro station amongst other places in the city).

Best tour ever!!! 100% recommend
We went to Tigre with no specific plans. We just knew we at least wanted to take a tour somewhere. Once we got off the train we were in luck and met some of the best tour guides ever! They showed us ideas of where we could go and visit and promised to make it kid oriented. They fulfilled that promise and more. We spent around 6 hours touring different areas that you will not experience with the larger tour groups. The kids got to play in the water while we ate lunch. Plus, we went way off the beaten path and got to see various ways the locals live. Like the hippie encampment. The best part is they knew the history to these areas as well and the local wildlife. 100% recommend to anyway not wanting a commercialized tour that does not feel unique. You will not find this experience for the price with any other place!!!

Unforgettable experience in the Tiger Delta
Paradise experience: we had the chance to share these good times with Etienne, our guide and zodiac driver, passionate like us of wild nature and calm. He made us discover the maze of small canals, he was able to stop the engine to allow us to savor the calm and observe the herons. We feasted on a local fish in a beautiful restaurant le blanco I believe, we stopped in Very Boca to discover life in these islands. Etienne served us as a very useful interpreter to resolve a cancellation of an evening made in error. Etienne is a discreet person, very attentive and with a real ecological mindset. Thank you for a wonderful day
Response from the operator: Chère Annie, merci du fond du cœur pour tes mots. Nous espérons avoir la joie de te revoir très bientôt. Je t’embrasse avec affection.

An unforgettable day
A grateful surprise to know that there is an honest and serious Enterprise, which brought us wonderful experiences navigating the canals of the region of Tigres. It would not be possible to participate in this experience if we did not count on a differentiated and personalized care that was delivered to us. We have had a wonderful day and indicate without reservation the services of this Enterprise. Our guide, named Lautero, gave a real show in conducting this script. All we have to do is be immeasurably grateful for everything we have been offered.

An unforgettable experience in the Tiger Delta with Sergio!
Yesterday we went on a Tiger Delta safari with my husband and it was just wonderful. Sergio, our guide, was super friendly, attentive and very professional. He made us discover amazing places, outside the usual tourist circuits, and shared with us a lot of interesting information about the area, fauna, flora and local life. The tour was very well organized, it was relaxing and at the same time full of surprises. We really enjoy browsing the canals surrounded by nature, with perfect stops to appreciate the scenery and the peaceful Mood. A thousand thanks to Sergio for his good vibe, his knowledge and for making us live such a special day! We recommend this activity 100% if you are visiting the tiger delta.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Unveiling Tigre Secrets of Delta & Rio de la Plata start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
