Excellent tour of great sites by great guides on Motorbikes!
What an exceptional experience we had on the motorbike tour to the hidden gems of Saigon. It was made exceptional by the excellent guides we had, Emmie and Sophie. All of the signup, meeting and logistical aspects were handled professionally and without problems. We were wondering how it would go being a passenger on the back of a motorbike. Emmie and Sophie made it smooth, safe and we glided along in traffic with ease. They were always watching out for our safety and comfort on the bikes and at the various sites we visited. They both had a wealth of knowledge and presented it in an easy to understand manner in perfect English. They were personal and professional and we got a good understanding of what their lives were like and of other Vietnamese. The sites were all very interesting and they structured the tour to meet our desires. There were just the two of us with the two guides which made it very personalized. We never felt rushed and the time was well organized. The tour is a great way to have a personalized tour, see a lot in a short period of time, avoid the traffic and really learn about the culture. The tour was well worth the time and cost. We would highly recommend it to others. Besides an excellent tour, we made great new friends.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear Emmie and Sophie made your motorbike tour safe, personal, and memorable. We’re glad you enjoyed the hidden gems, local stories, and flexible pace. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to see you again in Saigon! Best regards, Saigon Taste Tours Team!

What stood out most about this Vietnamese food tour wasn’t just the foodit was the experience
Grey and Nancy made the entire evening feel less like a guided tour and more like a night out with friends who genuinely wanted to share their favourite local spots. The food itself was excellent. From betel leaf wraps to Vietnamese pizza, every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and far from the usual tourist trail. We explored places we would never have found on our own, which made the experience feel personal and special. Highlights included crispy bánh xèo and a rich, flavourful crab noodle dish, with each stop offering something distinct. Beyond the food, the storytelling added depth to the journey. Walking through Flower Street with their narration gave us a better appreciation of the culture and setting it wasn’t just about eating, but understanding the context behind it. What truly elevated the experience was the personal touch. Knowing I had an upcoming wedding, Grey surprised us with an impromptu karaoke session, which was completely unexpected and genuinely memorable. Overall, this tour struck the right balance between great food, local insight, and authentic connection. It never felt staged or transactional just a really enjoyable evening with good company and even better food.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and detailed review—it truly means a lot to us! 😊 Grey and Nancy will be so happy to hear this. We always hope our tours feel like a night out with friends, not just a tour, so it’s really special to know that came through. I love that you enjoyed both the food and the stories behind it—that’s exactly what we want to share. And the karaoke surprise… that’s such a Grey moment 😄 Wishing you all the best for your upcoming wedding! Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to see you back in Saigon one day 🙏

This evening motorbike tour through Saigon was absolutely amazing! We discovered so many cool and beautiful spots that we never would’ve found on our own. Our guides, Grey and Nick, were simply the best – incredibly funny, kind, and full of positive energy. They showed us their city in such a unique and charming way that we instantly fell in love with Saigon’s spirit. Riding on the back of the mopeds was not only exciting but also felt completely safe the entire time. If you want a fun, authentic and heartwarming experience, this tour is a must-do!

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 69 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour?
+
Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Unseen Saigon: Culture, Coffee & Hidden Gems Motorbike Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
