    2. Jordan Wine Estate

If you'd like to get up-close-and-personal to the vineyards, we can help you book the 4x4 safari Winelands drive at Jordan's estate. You won’t see the Big 5, but be prepared to feast on award-winning big wines, stopping at 360-degree vantage points to catch views of False Bay and Table Mountain in the distance. Your wine guide will let you experience the terroir and geology of the grounds whilst tasting a selection of the estate's best, drinking in the Stellenbosch and Table Mountain views paired with interesting wine tasting trivia. Head to the working cellar for an insider view of how grapes are processed and wines produced, from the large fermentation tanks to the endless rows of stacked oak barrels. This is followed by an opportunity to sample more wine in the barrel cellar or on the sun-soaked terrace.

    3. DeMorgenzon Winery

Waltz your way to the next tasting stop at DeMorgenzon’s marvellously musically influenced vines. The owners of this estate believe that playing baroque 24/7 from large speakers in the vineyards has a romantically delicious effect on the grapes, and the wine's depth of flavour certainly rings true, consistently winning multiple international awards. Sample the Maestro and exclusive reserve wines as you're lulled by the baroque music drifting through the tasting room and estate. Follow the music on a whimsical walk behind the Cape Dutch buildings to enjoy the Reserve Syrah from the vineyard block where it was harvested.

    Fabulous guide, tour and wine

Our guide was timely and knowledgeable as well as great fun. The Jordan jeep tour and lunch at the restaurant were a great treat. We also loved the other wine tour as well as the brandy tour! Perfect day in South Africa. Gerard, our guide, was the best. Ask for Ruben at Jordan Winery!

    Professional guide

The company arranged a van for us, even we are group of 4. The transport is very comfortable and tour guide drives very well. Staffs of wineries are very nice, helpful, informative and ready to answer questions. Restaurant in Jordan is very nice. Nice food and environment. It takes 1.5 hr for a 3 course meal. We have chose to visit another winery (after Jordan and Demorgenson) instead of brandy tasting. Pinotage and other single origin wine tasted good. The staff is very passionate to explain details about the making of their wines. Interesting! Tour guide Andrew is very nice.He even takes us to but an adaptor which is obviously an extra demand of us.

Response from the operator: Thank you Kennis for taking the time to review your Private Wine Safari trip with Andrew. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your curated wine tour and loved the selection of wineries. We carefully selected some of the finest wineries for this tour and it is great to hear you found the wines and staff to be equally as sensational! We also love that Andrew was able to personalise the trip to meet your expectations for the day. We look forward to showing you even more of the winelands in the future. Keep exploring, from team Hotspots2c

Amazing day out! Having been to the Cape Winelands a number of times, I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable ways to experience this beautiful part of the world. The 'safari' drive through the Jordan estate as a great way to see the amazing scenery and a perfect backdrop for some wine tasting. Our guide, Andrew, was extremely knowledgeable not only on the region but the wine itself. Cannot recommend this tour enough.

High recommended tour. The jeep drive around the Jordan vineyard was a great way to see the vineyards and learn about the how they grow the grapes there and the different types of vines. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave some great insights on the area we were visiting. Fantastic way to experience the wine lands!

Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive cost?

    +

Prices start at $467 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Hike Table Mountain or Lions Head in Cape Town Like a Local, Cape Point and Boulder's Penguins Full Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive?

Is Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Wheelchair accessible; and Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Unique Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with optional 4x4 Wine Drive if the weather is bad?
