Amazing experience, truly learn how to cook like a native Vietnamese!

Alice was one of the best tour guides and AirBnB Experiences I've ever had the joy of being a part of - in any part of the world. Her English is fluent. She is also from the Vietnamese countryside, so she is deeply familiar with all aspects of the farm's nature, including the growing of the plants/vegetables, herbal properties of the plants/vegetables, animals, weather, and history. Lastly, she's just a really bubbly person and enjoyable to be around. Very hospitable and good communicator.

A special rural cooking experience for our little family

“The food was great and I loved doing all the cooking the farm was so good it was great”. This is the feedback from our 9 year old daughter who absolutely loved the whole experience, picking green papaya, star fruit, learning about different Vietnamese herbs and cooking for hours in an open air kitchen surrounded by banana trees and butterflies. We bought a cookbook and will try to recreate at home in London!

Amazing Cooking Class with the Wonderful Chef Alice

We had such an incredible experience at this cooking class in Vietnam! My son Jamie and I loved every minute of it. One of the highlights was visiting the farm, where we picked our own fresh vegetables. We also got to see water buffalo and cows, learned how crops are grown, and even discovered how oyster mushrooms are cultivated and harvested. It made the entire experience so much more meaningful. The food we cooked was absolutely delicious, but what truly made the class unforgettable was our chef, Alice. She was bright, energetic, and so much fun! Her wonderful sense of humor kept everyone laughing, and she guided us through every step with skill, patience, and enthusiasm. I also have a gluten allergy, and Alice was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, making sure I knew exactly what ingredients to use and how to safely prepare each dish. I truly appreciated the extra care she took. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam, and I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic, hands-on cooking experience. Thank you, Alice, for making it such a memorable day!

    Fun, interesting, yummy food.

We had a great time touring the farm and cooking with our guide, Alice. We were collected and dropped off to our accomdation comfortably and given plenty of water and tea to rehydrate. Alice is so lovely and infectiously positive. The food we cooked was amazing. The best we have had in Vietnam. I really liked touring the farm and seeing how the farm worked.

Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.

How much does Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam take?

    +

Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.

Is Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 73 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam?

    +

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Unique Farm to Table Cooking Class with Top Chef in Vietnam start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
