    Impressive experience

The Blue Lagoon is an impressive experience and definitely worth a visit. The complex is very nicely designed and bathing in warm, milky-blue water is something special, in addition to a drink, a face mask and also a towel are included in the price. Unfortunately, the ordering process did not go through quite cleanly and I did not initially receive a confirmation of payment. A response from support only came after two days, which was a bit impractical. Overall, a great experience, even if there is still room for improvement in organisation.

    Bad customer service

My experience at the Blue Laguna was disappointing, particularly with the poor customer service. While I enjoyed my time in Iceland, the last day was disappointing by a visit to this overpriced and underwhelming attraction not to mention a lot of it was fake. . Unless you're a teenager looking for a lively atmosphere, I would recommend exploring alternative options. Customer service is not good!

    ICELAND IS A MAGICAL PLACE

Iceland is an AMAZING & MAGICAL country! Hot Springs:The Blue Lagoon is a MUST when it comes to hot springs, it is located very near Keflavik International Airport. We also visited the Sky Lagoon and The Secret Lagoon as well, but The Blue Lagoon was really something special! We cannot wait to go back there! Car Rental: I do suggest renting a small car since there is no UBER services in Iceland and cab fares can be rather very pricy!!! Having a rented car, allows you to have more freedom and drive around as you wish. Tours: Chose small tours, it is worth every penny! The Golden Circle Tour is highly recommended, I hope you get the chance of riding with an experienced local tour guide, that makes it even more priceless! We had the pleasure of having Gummi from VIATOR as our Tour Guide and he made a huge difference due to his knowledge and patience! The food, ahhh the food :) Scrumptiously delicious in absolutely every bite. Iceland is a very clean country and super worth visiting! For many times I caught myself at complete awe faced with the natural beauty and the landscaping which is being forged out of the inner force of the earth! WHAT A PLACE! What an unforgettable and magical experience!!!

Fabulous time in a unique spot

A once in a lifelong experience, totally unique - the surroundings of black lava rock are extraordinary, the milky water really soothing - a truly relaxing and enjoyable time

    The Blue Lagune Island

36-40g degrees hot water - mega delicious. Possibility of delivery of nature-based facial mask / scrub to the body. There's a bar in the water. Lots of space and small hooks to explore.

Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon cost?

    +

Prices start at $344 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Unique bathing in an Icelandic hot springs at the Blue Lagoon start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
