An Amazing Trip to Egypt!
We had an amazing trip in July with Forever Egypt Tours! Waleed made the process simple from start to finish. He looked at the ideas I had for an itinerary, made some suggestions of his own, and took care of arranging everything we needed in terms of transportation and logistics. Throughout Egypt, we had a private car and local driver available to take us wherever we wanted to go, and we were even able to add to and adjust our plans while we were there. Communication with Waleed was excellent, and the same was true of his guides and drivers. All of our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and led us through each site so that we never had to worry about a thing. Osama was our guide in Cairo, and we absolutely loved him. He was punctual, organized, and shared tons of interesting information about the places we visited. We learned so much about ancient Egypt, Islam, and Egyptian culture, and we enjoyed chatting about our respective families and home countries. An added bonus with Osama is that he takes great pictures and knows all the best spots for amazing photo opportunities. A shout-out as well to Mahmoud, who led us through the busy streets of Khan el-Khalili and gave us an exciting night to remember! Hamed, our guide in Luxor, was a veteran tour guide, and his passion for and expertise in Egypt—both modern and ancient—were evident as he taught us about the tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the temples throughout the city. He was wonderful to talk with and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own without ever making us feel rushed. Ali met us in Aswan for our trip to Abu Simbel and gave us a fascinating overview of the temple and the incredible story of how it was relocated in the 1960s. He handled all the logistics of getting us to Abu Simbel and gave us plenty of time to explore the site at our own pace. It was also incredibly convenient to have a personal driver throughout our time in Egypt. They picked us up whenever we needed them, and they were excellent at navigating the busy streets of the cities. Waleed was always flexible and happy to arrange a car whenever we needed one. If we did it again, we wouldn’t change a thing!

Best Birthday Trip Ever!
Let me first start off by saying that I do not know that we did anything different from what others have done while in Egypt, but wanted to share some details of our family trip and hope that it is helpful to someone. I have included hotels and tour schedule. I originally planned to visit Egypt for 50th birthday in February, but I needed to push it back. I had been working with a travel agent since last July... long story short that didn't work out for the date change and I then booked trip myself mid - February. I kept the original flights. I found tour guide's name on BTM. Waleed was responsive right away and stayed in contact over the three months leading up to our May travel date. He provided several options for tour plans. We made him aware of our choice and he took care of every detail which technically started before our arrival. A few of the things you can expect when you tour with him: - someone waiting at airport for you when arrive. This person helped with Visas and overall navigation of arriving in Egypt. We were able to skip some of the long lines. -drivers to take us to every destination -security traveled with us - lunch every day at local spots. Our favorite lunch spot hands down was The Fish Market in Alexandria! The food was fantastic and you have views of the Mediterranean Sea. - some of the locals can get pretty aggressive when trying to convince you to purchase goods. Our tour guide was able to keep that down to a minimum. -a very knowledgeable and personable tour guide in Waleed. He also assigned a guide (Shima), tour bus and security for us when we traveled to Luxor. ( we took local flight and stayed for two nights) - Waleed asked about our favorite parts of the trip and if there was anything that we would not want to repeat. 5 out of 6 of us agreed that we were not impressed with the Nile River dinner cruise. This was an Add - On. Cruising down the Nile of course was an awesome experience but The food was just ok and the ship was too dated for our taste. I would suggest choosing something else instead. -It's hard to explain how great Waleed was in taking care of our party of 6, but this might help: he set up the perfect proposal site for my daughter and future son in law AND provided gifts to celebrate their engagement. When my future son in law had an accident on ATV (he's ok) and my best friend ended up with a stomach bug (she's ok) he made sure we got meds and had access to him should we needed help even if late at night. I cannot imagine navigating Egypt and tours without a guide and would 100% recommend Waleed. Book with him. You will not be disappointed. We stayed in three different hotels. All were great with fabulous views. The Marriott Mena House in Cairo. Choose a room with a view of the pyramids. Sofitel Winter Palace in Luxor was built in the late 1800s for the royal family. Choose a balcony room with a view of the Nile River. Fairmont Nile City in Downtown Cairo was the newest of the three hotels. It was really nice as well. It has a lounge and club that is open until 3am. Choose a room with a view of the Nile River. Waleed is the best! Happy Traveling!
Response from the operator: Dear Lisa, Wow—thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review. Reading your kind words truly means the world to me. It was an absolute pleasure helping you plan your 50th birthday trip and spending time with you, your wonderful family, and your friends. From the moment we started planning your journey until the day you departed, my goal was to make everything as seamless and enjoyable as possible, and I'm so happy to hear that you felt well taken care of. Thank you for highlighting our Meet & Assist service, transportation, local dining experiences, and the work of our team. I’m especially grateful for your kind words about Shima, who will be delighted to know that you appreciated her guidance in Luxor. Being part of your daughter's engagement celebration was truly a special moment that I will never forget. It was an honor to help create such a memorable occasion for your family. I'm also very glad that your future son-in-law recovered quickly after the ATV incident and that your friend felt better after receiving the medication. Looking after our guests goes far beyond sightseeing—once you're in Egypt with us, you're part of our family. I also sincerely appreciate your honest feedback regarding the Nile dinner cruise. Constructive comments like yours help us continue improving our recommendations and ensure future travelers have the best possible experience. Thank you once again for your trust, your friendship, and your wholehearted recommendation. It was a privilege to share Egypt with you, and I hope this won't be your last visit. We would be honored to welcome you and your family back anytime for another unforgettable adventure. Until we meet again, I wish you all the very best. Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ultimate Private Tour Grand Egyptian Museum Giza Pyramids, Sphinx start and how do I get there?

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ViP Private Tour Giza Pyramids, camel ride , inside 3rd Pyramid, Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel, ATV Bike, Shopping & Dinner Cruise, Giza Pyramids VIP Private Tour ATV Camel Inside Pyramid & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
