Visit the Stalheim Hotel with your guide and enjoy fine views over the UNESCO–listed Nærøydalen Valley from the terrace. Probably the most beautiful view of the day - and you will continue - The Stalheimskleiva Road - Stalheimskleiva is the name of the 1.5-km-long stretch of road that winds its way up the mountainside from the end of the Nærøydalen valley to the top at Stalheim. It is one of Northern Europe's steepest roads and offers beautiful views.The Stalheimskleiva road runs up a ridge between two cascading waterfalls that can both be seen from the road. To the north, you can see the Sivlefossen waterfall, which has a fall of about 140 metres. To the south, the Stalheimsfossen waterfall with a fall of 126 metres. Please note possible to visit only from May - End of September.

It was a lovely...
It was a lovely experience away from the crowds with a great guide. Reached all of our places ahead of the crowds and gave the freedom to just explore without having to worry about logistics.

Don’t take this tour waste of money rip off
I have got a many Vito trips and they’ve all been fantastic. This particular trip is horrible. Total waste of money and time because basically all that happened on this trip was the guy drove us to a boat? We got on a boat and then the boat let us off in a little town and we could’ve taken the train all the way back to Bergen but halfway he met us for no reason other than to justify his existence, but we didn’t stop anywhere. We didn’t see anything and the two modes of transportation we took cost at the most for both of us $200 and we paid $1700 for a horrible day.

Outstanding Tour!!!
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of joining this tour, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized, engaging, and enjoyable. Our guide, Alekss, was absolutely outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. He struck the perfect balance between providing detailed information and keeping things fun and interactive. You could tell he truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. Alekss went above and beyond to answer questions and offer helpful recommendations. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to see key highlights without ever feeling rushed. There was also enough flexibility to enjoy each stop at a comfortable pace, which made the experience feel more personal and relaxed. What really stood out was that Alekss made the trip like exploring with a knowledgeable friend. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enriching and enjoyable experience! Starting out, the drive to catch the boat that took us to the cruise down the fjords was informative and the scenery was beautiful-an appetizer to what was to come. Alekks even stopped halfway for us to stretch our legs, get a coffee, and use the restrooms-very kind and thoughtful. He dropped us off at the boat dock to catch the 2 hour cruise through the fjords - which was breathtaking. We had plenty of time to use restrooms, shop, then he stood with us to make sure we got on the boat. When we arrived in Flam he was right there to welcome us off the boat and show us around the train depot area where we had time to shop, grab a snack, and use the restrooms before boarding the train to Myrdal! He stayed with us and made sure we boarded safely. The train ride to Myrdal and back was the icing on the cake- even more spectacular than the fjords cruise. Once we arrived back at the train station, Alekss was there again waiting for us. We then made the drive back to Bergen with him stopping for us to take pictures of a beautiful waterfall and then offered to stop halfway for another break if needed but we were good so we continued driving! Even though the length of time for the tour was long, it went by very quickly!! I can’t say enough good things about Alekss and this tour!

Awesome! Highly recommend.
Aleks was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable, charismatic and fun. If we ever come back, we will ask for him to be our guide again (assuming that's possible!) The trip itself is long (full day) but absolutely beautiful and breath taking. Protip: consider eating on the boat because places to stop are few.
