Brilliant tour - 100% recommend!
We had a fantastic experience on the Uffizi Gallery Guided VIP Small Group Experience on 23 August 2026. Our guide was absolutely lovely—really pleasant, engaging and exceptionally knowledgeable about the art and history of Florence, the Medici family and the Uffizi itself. We saw a number of important works in the gallery, brought to life by our guide’s expert narrative and fascinating insights. At the end of the tour, we were also directed towards other areas of the gallery so we could continue exploring independently, which was a great way to finish the experience. I’d have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this tour. An excellent experience from start to finish—100%!

A “cluster” of a tour
This was was a discombobulated and poorly organized experience. They changed the time on us last minute. Then they had us waiting for 40 minutes because the tour company screwed up the ticketing process. But instead of being the 90 minute tour as advertised, the guide felt compelled to compress a 90 minute tour into 60 minutes. So it was like listening to a speed reading class on Italian art instead of amor well paced experience of the museum. The guide was knowledgeable. But overall, the experience was hurried and poorly organized. We would’ve done much better to just have a headset and guided ourselves. It was an incredible waste of money and more importantly our time. When I shared this feedback with the tour company, which is called Crown, they said thank you for the feedback and that was it. Any professional outfit would have made good on the poor tour. Extreme disappointment. Avoid it at all costs.

It is absolutely not a small VIP guided tour as the title says. I got my ticket from the employee and led myself thru.
The title is deceptive. I walked thru the gallery myself the only thing that they provide is the app that has audio to describe the art. However, I had my own audio guide that I preferred so I used that one instead. I guess it’s the convenience of not having to purchase your ticket on the website, I’m not really sure the point of this “tour”.

Uggizi tour
Definitely the way to go! We were a small group (6) and our guide, Gabriela, was most knowledgeable about the backstory of the paintings we viewed. She took time for questions as well. After the one hour tour we had as much time as we wished to tour the museum on our own.
