Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the famous places of interest in Bali, the beauty of the waterfall does not only become an attraction for domestic or foreign tourists, local people also often visit this waterfall. Fun day out in the VW
A fun day out. Our driver was very friendly and jovial and we loved being driven around in a cool car. I would say though that it’s more a driver and car than a tour guide. We got driven to the sights and then left to our own devices with no direction or history of the places. Overall I wish we had just hired a driver for the day locally as it would have been much cheaper for the same experience and most of the places we went had a very low, or free entrance fee, so very hard to justify the $220 fee (for two of us). The driver was lovely though and we had a nice lunch and was fun, but wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to others.

We booked the Ubud VW...
We booked the Ubud VW Private Tour, and it was such a fun and relaxing way to explore Ubud! My husband and I were picked up right from our hotel and visited the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a waterfall, the Monkey Sanctuary, and the Ubud Market. All entrance fees were included, which made everything seamless. There were optional extras like the Bali swings and ziplining at the rice terrace for an additional cost. Lunch was also included at a beautiful restaurant with scenic views, and it ended up being some of the best food we had during our entire trip. Our driver was very kind and accommodating, letting us spend as much time as we wanted at each stop, which made the day feel relaxed and unrushed. Just note that this experience is more of a private driver tour than a guided tour — the driver doesn’t provide commentary but handles all logistics perfectly. Overall, a smooth, enjoyable day and a great way to see Ubud’s highlights at your own pace!
