Slow down and jump on a bike in Ubud
Highly recommend this cycling tour. It’s such a great way to explore more of Ubud and take it slowly. My guide was local Wayan who was the perfect person for the job. Happy, patient and knowledgeable. Lots of beautiful views of lush rice paddies, off the beaten track areas which are actually only 5-10 mins from main area, opportunities to chat with locals and stop whenever you like. I thoroughly enjoyed our chats about Bali life and neeting locals and a fresh coconut. Booking online via WhatsApp was so easy and convenient. The reservation team were so helpful and even with very late requests they offered this cycling tour quickly and made sure this was a good match for me. It was. Slow down, get back in a bike and enjoy a little exploration with a reliable team.

Very enjoyable!
Wonderful way to get to see Ubud from a different perspective. And being on bikes is a bit cooler than walking :-). Glad that we took the time.
Response from the operator: Glad you enjoyed this active adventure around Ubud!

Great day out in Ubud
Wonderful cycle tour with Mudita, he is very knowledgeable, kind and funny. We tasted some new fruits (the one with the snakeskin) and could take a break whenever needed. Very much worth doing.
Response from the operator: Well done on your active advetnure. Mudita enjoyed showing you around his backyard of Ubud as well. I'm glad to hear you were open to try the many wonderful yet weird tropical fruits to discover along the way.

Delightful morning in Ubud
My husband and I had a wonderful morning cycling with Gustu. We met in the soccer field and went for a wonderful cycle around the rice paddies. There are some parts that are uphill but Gustu was sure to communicate when they were coming and was happy to stop at any point to take a break. There are also some parts that are narrow, I am not a super confident rider but managed just fine! We stopped at a lovely shop for some coconut water and fruit, visited a local artist and saw lots of people working on their harvest. It was a really amazing tour.
Response from the operator: Well done on completing this adventurous route. We do have an easier downhill option, but that's on a full day tour while you opted for a half-day one with more exercise. Gustu really enjoyed sharing his knowledge about Ubud and Bali. We look forward to sharing more of Bali with you on our other cycling routes!

Highly Recommend Eco Cycling Tour
The entire experience was awesome. The staff were highly responsive and helpful with confirming before we arrived in Bali and then again once we arrived in country. The pickup/drop off was easy. The tour guides were highly knowledgeable and professional and eager to share about their country. It felt very authentic and we were able to see so much by bike! We learned a ton and we are so happy we did it at the beginning of our trip because we were able to take that knowledge with us throughout our remaining adventures. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: This half-day tour usually doesn't come with pick up / drop off, it starts and finishes at the Ubud (Peliatan) soccer field. You may have gone on our full day Bali Eco Educational Cycling tour, which currently is not yet up on Viator/Trip Advisor. The full day tour includes pick up, breakfast, snacks along the way as well as lunch at the end, with an option of visiting a waterfall or the monkey forest if it is on the way back to your accommodation. The half day tour being more exercise, while the full day tour more of a pleasure cruise in the countryside... but we also have other routes in different parts of Bali. This particular tour gives you a backstage pass to see Ubud's environs. A must-do if you are spending some time in Ubud, as you learn about the shortcuts that avoid the traffic jams.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration cost?
+
Prices start at $500000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ubud Eco Culture Cycling Exploration start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
