Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Beyond the playful primates, the Ubud Monkey Forest also has a rich cultural significance. It’s not just a wildlife haven but also home to sacred temples that date back centuries. Walking through the moss-covered statues and stone pathways, I could feel the history and spirituality that infuse this place. It’s a beautiful reminder that in Bali, nature and culture are deeply connected.

Ubud Art Market
Ubud Market is more than just a shopping destination; it’s a sensory experience. The colors, smells, and sounds all combine to create a lively atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Ubud. Whether you’re looking for souvenirs, art, or just want to immerse yourself in local culture, the market is a must-visit spot. Plus, it’s located right near Ubud Palace and Saraswati Temple, making it easy to combine a market visit with some of Ubud’s other iconic attractions.
60 minutes here
Ubud Palace, or Puri Saren Agung, is one of the most important cultural landmarks in the heart of Ubud. This palace, once the official residence of the Ubud royal family, still stands as a symbol of Bali’s rich cultural heritage and its deep-rooted connection to art, dance, and traditional architecture. What I love about Ubud Palace is that it blends history with the vibrancy of modern Ubud, offering a glimpse into the royal past while being surrounded by the lively streets of the town.

Tanah Lot
Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most iconic landmarks, and for good reason. Perched on a rock formation jutting out into the Indian Ocean, this sea temple offers a breathtaking view, especially during sunset when the entire scene feels almost magical. I remember my first visit there—it felt like stepping into a postcard, with the waves crashing against the cliffs and the temple standing majestically against the horizon.

Beautiful Bali Made Easy – Well-Planned Trip with IndiaTourPackages.com
I visited Bali in May and had a fantastic 6-day trip, all arranged by IndiaTourPackages.com from Bangalore. From airport pickup to hotel stays and sightseeing, everything was smooth and stress-free. Our itinerary covered Ubud, Kintamani, Tanah Lot, Nusa Dua beach, and a sunset dinner at Jimbaran — each day was well-paced and memorable. The local guide was polite and punctual, and the vehicle provided was clean and air-conditioned throughout the trip. Special thanks to their team for helping us with visa assistance and customizing the itinerary based on our interests. It was my first international trip post-pandemic, and they made it completely hassle-free. Highly recommend them for anyone planning a trip to Bali from India!

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nusa Dua.
How much does Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nusa Dua usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nusa Dua is not rushed.
Is Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nusa Dua, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nusa Dua can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nusa Dua and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ubud Day Trip and Tanah Lot start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nusa Dua within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nusa Dua?
+
On Outty we rank every Nusa Dua experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bali Blue Lagoon Snorkeling - Lunch and Transport All Inclusive, Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Tour - Bali Volcano Adventure, All inclusive Private 3 day tours package : Bali highlights. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nusa Dua?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nusa Dua?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
