Our friendly and professional staff cares -as much as operation allows- about divers' individual needs and preferences. We do not have a maximum diving time other than air consumption and no deco limit. Count on us to enjoy your experience to the fullest. Here in Mahahual/Costa Maya we have 5 different underwater landscapes and dive sites among 3 ranges of depths (most of them are between 45 to 90 feet). Diving conditions are friendly and we enjoy an average 90 feet visibility. All our dives are boat dives (time from the jetty: 10 to 15 minutes). Please, if your certification level is Advanced or higher and you want us to consider it, send us a message.

Diving always beats snorkeling!
Costa Maya (Mahahual) was one of three diving destination stops for me and two boys. Visibility a step down from Cozumel and Honduras, but Mahahual scuba diving still beat Belize snorkeling by a wide margin. Abundant marine life - including an octopus sleeping under a rock that my 12 year old tried to bond with. Our divemaster Axel was 19 years old. He was strict about maintaining depth and following instructions, maybe in large part due to the old-school nature of the analog equipment we used showing only tank pressure, and not even depth. There was a second divemaster closer to my age, Ivan, who trailed us, so safety was never an issue. We really enjoyed having the boat to ourselves, and I commend Mar Adentro on maximizing their local resources.

I cruise with carnival! I call Mar Adentro last minute this morning as we were coming into port and they were able to accommodate me very quickly. Evan was my dive master! He was great, definitely worth the trip and the dive! The staff was phenomenal and I would highly recommend them to any cruiser! We docked at 1:30, they had me in the water at 3:00, and second dive at 5:30. They made sure I made it back to the boat safely and on time, even called a taxi for me to the dive shop! 10 out of 10, highly recommend. If you were coming to dive request Evan for sure!

Love 2 Dive!
My husband and I enjoyed this dive so much!! Everyone at the dive shop was knowledgeable and helpful in every way possible. The reef was beautiful and we saw so much marine life. It was a leisurely dive. We did not feel rushed at anytime. The boat had plenty of shade available, which is very important to my fair skin. We rented a golf cart at the cruise port and drove ourselves to the dive shop without any problems. There is plenty to do right around the dive shop and in my opinion there is no need to travel anywhere else. There is fresh water shower available, beach chairs with umbrellas, restaurants and much more. Very worth it!!
