Smooth trip and fun experience
Well organized, the guides were nice and helpful. Asked for transport from Dubai, the driver was on time. Got all my equipment from the center. Saw some nice marine life around Dibba rock. Snacks and water were available on the boat between dives. Each dive was around 45 minutes.

Stress-free and enjoyable
I came to Nemo Diving Center for my Scuba refresher. From start to finish, it was an enjoyable and stress-free experience. My instructor, Yahya, was extremely patient and ensured I was comfortable in the water.

Check the waters before you board!
Nemo diving center review I booked via booking.com for me and my son. It was a straight forward booking process and confirmation was sent through almost immediately. I didn’t receive finer details until very last minute however. The information asked us for our t shirt size and shoe size which I supplied. It also states to not bring plastic bottles so I rushed out to Dubai mall to buy a couple of water bottles. The confirmation text advised that we would be collected at 6:45am and I was really impressed when the driver pulled up outside the reception of our hotel at exactly 6:45am! Our driver was very polite and pleasant. We boarded the bus with three passengers already and we collected one person after me and my son and headed on our way. After one hour we stopped at a service station to use the lavatory and buy some breakfast refreshments etc. we arrived at our destination by about 9am and was instructed to fill in the waiver form and hand in passports. The staff sat at their desks didn’t make any effort whatsoever to even say hello to us so it felt very awkward and a cold reception. We gathered to check for flipper sizing and life jackets if we needed them (I did and thank god I did!) We then went to board the boat over very very sharp incoming shore waves! At this point I started to wonder if it’s this rough here how will it be further out. I struggled to even get onto the boat because of the crashing waves as we had to walk a bit out to get onto it. The shore line was unexpectedly rocky and if you are not careful you can badly injure yourself (as my son did!) I was kindly helped to the boat by the snorkel instructor who honestly did help me and my son loads throughout the short experience. Once on board we put on our gear and started our journey out to sea. It was rough! Really really rough. I recall even looking at my son thinking this boat should NOT be going out. We were really in the thick of the waves and a passenger in our group became immediately unwell and suffering from sea sickness. We reached our point of drop off and it was not easy! One of the group members asked for another size of snorkel but was promptly informed they have no additional equipment other than what’s given! It was very inconvenient. The rough sea was tossing us around like skittles and we had no control. Again our nice snorkel instructor tried his best to look after my son and I but he had to watch for everyone too. It was unfortunate that we were all gathered next to the boat by the ladder because my son was almost being taken under by the boat as the waves were pushing us against the boat and it was taking a while to push off. Once we got out and began snorkelling, we were put for about fifteen minutes of snorkel time and albeit me and my son absolutely did see some stunning fish and a turtle, due to the huge waves that were clogging our snorkels, we were facing major hardship in the waters! Again I reiterate our instructor really did his best to look after me and my son but it was NOT an enjoyable experience at all. He was very close to me so his flippers kept hitting my face and I had to use one hand to guard my face at all times. We rushed to the boat in an emergency as a passenger was on the verge of fainting and my son kept getting water logged in his snorkel because of the crashing huge forceful waves. We got to the boat and we all headed back to shore bar one other member of the group as she was scuba diving. The child of the other couple and my son were unwell so they lay on the sunbeds at the beach but were soon told to vacate the space by the lifeguard as it belonged to the resort hotel and not the diving center. The beach was absolutely empty. Not a soul bar us five waiting for the scuba passenger who was out at sea. I was astounded at the audacity! We were offered to go back out again on the boat but the sea became rougher and I couldn’t understand how the boat was still departing and also I couldn’t leave my son on his own despite knowing it would be a long wait at the shore before we should head back at 1pm! As the five of us recuperated, the frustrating part for us was the ZERO effort was made by ANY of the staff to recompense for the horrid experience we just encountered. We were left like dead cuttlefish just to wait. We asked if we can get back sooner but as we came as a group we had to return as a group. A taxi would have cost approximately 350 dhm to return if needed. I am surprised that NO contingency or ‘plan B’ is in place for any unforeseen circumstances?! No access to a dr or anyway of getting back to Dubai with having to fork out yourself?! Had the staff even come to sit with us or communicate or offered a drink it would have made a huge difference. By this point I wasn’t even bothered about the amount of money we spent on this excursion as the experience has surpassed the ridiculous checkpoint! My son went to find a shop or eatery to get some snacks and nothing was available. It was a ghost beach! Nothing and no one around. (Yet we weren’t allowed to lay on the sunbeds! Make it make sense please?!) The scuba diver returned by 12:45 and we set off back. No one from the centre came to see us or say goodbye. I am truly disappointed overall with the service of Nemo Diving Center and DO NOT recommend this agent to anyone. The unnecessary early start is unwarranted. I appreciate many will say of you leave later then you are in the peak heat for the snorkel etc but out at sea one the water is cooler and if you have the right gear it’s not too bad. But having been through this after waking at 5am is diabolical! As I mentioned earlier, we were asked for our t shirt size. We were NOT provided with a tshirt. The confirmation email stated you’d have access to unlimited drinks etc. We didn’t have any drinks. I’m sure they said it was on the boat but it was impossible to consume anything there. We were offered some apples and oranges when we were on our emergency return to help calm us all down after our rocky ride but it would have helped to have had that tray given to the kids that were unwell back at the beach but we didn’t see it again. I can’t believe I wasted a whole half day with the inconvenience of a silly o clock start, expensive ticket price and zero customer service received throughout the experience. Unfortunately Nemo Diving Center, it was a sinker!

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.
How much does Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah cost?
+
Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.
Is Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Two Dives for certified divers in Fujairah start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubai?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Old and Modern City Tour with Blue Mosque Visit. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
