Best Way to See Tuscany from Florence.

If you are booking the Siena, San Gimignano, and Winery tour with Geda Tours & Transfers, you absolutely need to request Leonardo as your driver! He was nothing short of amazing and completely elevated our entire experience in the Tuscan countryside. From start to finish, the logistics were flawless. The tour company handled all the heavy lifting, pre-reserving an outstanding wine tasting and an incredible lunch for us so we didn't have to worry about planning a single detail. Leonardo went above and beyond as our guide for the day. He had fantastic local recommendations, steering us toward wonderful local shops to browse and making sure we stopped to eat some of the absolute best, most authentic gelato of the trip. What really set Leonardo apart was his exceptional level of service and situational awareness. He was incredibly strategic with his routing, ensuring we got curb-to-curb drop-offs as close to the monuments as possible. This allowed us to see all the heavy-hitting sights in Siena and San Gimignano without exhausting my mom with massive amounts of uphill walking. Leonardo is professional, highly knowledgeable, and just a genuinely great guy to spend the day with. We cannot recommend him and Geda Tours & Transfers Di Botosneanu Elvis-Traian enough. A 10/10 experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day exploring Siena, San Gimignano, and the Tuscan countryside with us. Your kind words about Leonardo mean a great deal, and we will be sure to share your compliments with him. Our goal is always to provide a seamless, comfortable, and memorable experience, and it is incredibly rewarding to know that we were able to contribute to such a special day for you and your family. Thank you again for choosing Geda Tours & Transfers. We hope to welcome you back to Tuscany in the future.

The BEST Tuscany Has to Offer

If you want to get a feel for Tuscany - the food, wine, countryside, towns - this is the BEST way! This is my third trip to Florence but I saw so much more this trip than the first two. For my sisters, this was the best way to introduce them to the beauty and wonder of Tuscany. Even if you are not a wine lover, the winery experience is fantastic. Finally, the driver. You will not find anyone better. Do not even bother trying, Elvis and his team are the absolute best. You spend time in the car traveling from place to place, why not have the best possible time doing so - Elvis was engaging, funny, safe, very knowledgeable about the area, history, geography and so much more. PLEASE DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY to have this true Tuscany experience!

Response from the operator: Driving for you was so much fun and truly enjoyable! I actually think I loved the day even more than you did! You’re such great people, and it was a pleasure to spend the day with you. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! I hope to see you back in Tuscany soon!

This is a great outing. We were picked up at the front door and driven to Siena, then to a wonderful restaurant in a vineyard for lunch and a wine tasting, then to San G. Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery cost?

    +

Prices start at $790 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tuscany Tour Siena - San Gimignano - Winery start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
