    Best Cooking Class Around

This was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Florence. The food we made was some of the best food that I had in Italy, and now I have the recipes to make at home!

    Do not miss this tour!!

This was way better than advertised! From the great AC bus from train station to the cooking location in the hills to the amazing Nona- Alessia and Chris were great!!! We were the only family with a child (age 12) and they were so great with her. The food? Wow pasta and Gelato we cooked and ate it all! Two kinds of pasta plus probably 15 kinds of gelato! The mint was my favorite-Strawberry my daughters and my husband’s the fig! After the class we did the extended tour with a winery and tasting which was also amazing! The lady in charge of that tour Geneve was so kind and just sweet as pie! If you have the time (it was 10 hours) you must do this tour and you will not regret it!! Thank you all so much you were a highlight!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the lovely review! We're really happy to hear you had such a great time. Our goal is to make it easy, fun, and memorable — so it means a lot to know you enjoyed the experience. We’d love to have you join us again whenever you’re back in the area. Safe travels and thanks again for choosing Walkabout Tours!

    Amazing!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the pasta making class. I booked it for his birthday and it definitely did not disappoint. Our group was also very small with just one other family who were very lovely. I know this situation isn’t guaranteed but was ideal for us! Alessia and Beatrice were wonderful and very educated. We actually learned quite a lot! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering it. We also did the wine tour afterwards, which was also really nice but very hot so bring a fan! The wine tasting itself is in the wine cellar with air-conditioning. Thank you again ☺️

    Pasta/Gelato/Wine Tasting

Pasta/Gelato making was terrific. Latisia, Carmela and Gloria were a great team. Katie’s did a great job demonstrating pasta making and the entire team was hands on and very helpful. Gloria did a great job explaining the gelato making process. The two pastas/sauces we made came out exceptional. The wine tasting was a lot of fun and the host was very knowledgeable. The only downside was the tour guide Sara who led the wine tasting portion of the tour. The meeting point wasn’t the same as the ending point as buses aren’t allowed at the Maria Novella train station. Sara just left us at the bus terminal without any direction on how to get back to the train station. We got turned around and took a lot longer to get back! Would have rated this a 3 because of the experience with Sara, but didn’t think it was fair to penalize the pasta/gelato making team.

    Amazing food and...

Amazing food and experience would highly recommend. The team were very helpful from picking us up to teaching us how to make Italian food and gelato.

Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence cost?

    +

Prices start at $155 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 294 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence?

    +

Around 103 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tuscany Express Experience: Pasta Class & Wine Tour from Florence start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
