Authentic cooking course with a lovely Turkish family

We had such a lovely experience in Sinem’s home. We learned to cook 4 delicious dishes, and enjoyed dinner at the table with Sinem, her husband, and her two boys. A highlight of our time in Antalya for sure.

Learn to Cook a Turkish Meal

This class was wonderful! We were welcomed into Sinem’s home where she taught us how to make a traditional meal. It was informative and fun and yes, the food was fabulous! We already purchased the spices and ingredients to try it at home!

Experience a true traditional Turkish meal with a friendly host!

Sinem welcomed us into her wonderful family home in Antalya and gave us exactly the experience that we were looking for. We were given clear and easy directions to the meet up point. Once there, we were welcomed with a choice of Turkish tea or coffee. We spent time preparing a delicious Turkish meal with fresh produce and ingredients. We prepared truly traditional Turkish dishes that were new for us and not from restaurants. This totally fulfilled our wishes for a local Turkish experience. Overall Sinem and Lokal Bond were fantastic to work with. They communicated well and even went above and beyond and accommodated our request to change the time so we can make it back in time for our cruise. My wife and I are so grateful for the friendly experience and are excited to take home some lovely new recipes to try!

Loved the cooking, meal and hospitality

We did a class with Sinem in her home. We made eggplant meat kebab, bulgur, yoghurt sauce and salad. We had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the hospitality of Sinem and her husband.

    Superbe

We spent a wonderful evening, first with Sineem for the preparation of the meal, then with her husband and children during the meal. We were afraid of having trouble communicating because we are not very comfortable in English, but we succeeded without worry and really had a great evening. Thank you very much sineem!

Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup 💛 Sinem et sa famille étaient ravis de vous accueillir. Peu importe la langue, autour de la cuisine et de la table on se comprend toujours. Vous serez toujours les bienvenus !

Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Antalya.

How much does Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya cost?

    +

Prices start at $76 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Antalya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Antalya is not rushed.

Is Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Antalya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Antalya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Antalya and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Antalya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Antalya?

    +

On Outty we rank every Antalya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Tour of Pamukkale from Antalya with Lunch, Antalya Excursion to Perge, Aspendos, side, Manavgat waterfall, Antalya City Tour With Duden Waterfalls & Old Town Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Antalya?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Antalya?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya?

    +

Included: Dinner; and Tea and coffee. Not included: Film My Experience - A friend will casually film your experience. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

What languages is Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya offered in?

    +

It is offered in English and Turkish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Turkish Cooking Class with a Local Mom in Central Antalya wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
