Private Cenote, zip lining and snorkeling tour
We had a great day exploring Mexico with our tour guide Saul with Tulaka Mexican Travel. We booked a private tour with Saul and he took our family zip lining, to a cenote and snorkeling in ocean. After that he took us to a local restaurant to try authentic Mexican food. For any families traveling to Mexico, we highly recommend booking a private tour that allows you to experience the day on your own schedule. We arrived to the zip lining and cenote early in the morning before all of the crowds arrived and had the whole place to ourselves. During the snorkeling, our daughter didn’t want to get in the water so Saul stayed back to watch her while my husband and I got our own private snorkeling tour. We then were able to choose from multiple options for lunch and Saul translated and explained the menu options for us. Along with that, Saul took pictures and videos throughout the whole day so we were able to enjoy the day while he captured the moments. You can also tell that Saul has kids because he was very patient and engaging with our daughter. She loved hanging out with him and we all had a memorable day. We highly recommend booking a private tour with Soul to get an immersive experience of Mexico!
Response from the operator: Jillian, WOW! This review made our whole week! Zip lining, cenote, snorkeling, authentic food AND memories captured all day long. That is a full Tulaka experience right there and we are so proud Saul could pull it off for your family! Your daughter stole the show and Saul absolutely loved every minute with her. Days like that one remind us exactly why we do what we do every single day. Thank you for trusting us with such a special family adventure. Mexico will always be here waiting for you and so will we! Cenote with Saúl
Our group had an awesome time with Saúl. He was friendly and full of knowledge about the region, and about the destination. Loved that he threw in words to say in Mayan. Great sense of humour, but also serious about his job and making certain everyone had a great time. At Chikin Ha cenote, he had great patience helping everyone be comfortable getting in the water, took his time and went out of his way helping the whole group enjoy the experience. I would definitely do a tour with the company again and definintely request Saúl as my guide. Thank you!

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tulaka Cenote Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Tulaka Cenote Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $360 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tulaka Cenote Experience take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Tulaka Cenote Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tulaka Cenote Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tulaka Cenote Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tulaka Cenote Experience?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tulaka Cenote Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
