Best Car service ever....
While traveling through Tuscany you will be eating and drinking your way through wonderful cities and wineries. The roads are narrow and winding and traffic signs are in Italian, so why waste valuable vacation time getting lost. We recommend a car service and there is only one choice we would recommend, Chianti Taxi di Mogni Daniele - Tours, Shuttle and Transfers. Daniele is incredible with a sense of humor. He spoke fluent English, extremely friendly and polite. His knowledge of the area, networking skills and resources were invaluable and worth every cent. We communicated in advance via email prior to the trip. We laid out the dates we would be in Tuscany and where we were staying. We didn't know the exact agenda for each day, but Daniele offered his knowledge of the area to make everyone's experience seamless. His vehicles fit up to 8 people comfortably. He juggled each request via whatsapp and we didn't miss a thing. He took us to all the major cities within an hour of our Villa. We can't say enough wonderful things about Daniele and his company. I consider him a dear friend now. Being the considerate gentleman, he reached out to us to make sure we were home safely. Truly a remarkable, hardworking man dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible.

An unforgettable day in Tuscany
I requested a private tour of the Chianti wine region. Daniele was very responsive and planned a wonderful day for us. He took time to plan a fantastic tour visiting two great wineries as well as lunch in at a local restaurant. He professional, considerate. I would definitely reach out again when in Tuscany.

Small Winery Tour
Stella customized our small winery tour. It was fantastic! She knew exactly what my wife and I wanted when we said "small, family operated wineries". Her knowledge of the Chianti region is invaluable. Also, we felt totally safe with her driving us around the region. Chianti will be the first call we make when we are back in the area. Thanks Stella!

A sure bet
We were considering renting two cars for our group of 6 referee colleagues travelling together in Toscana for four days this may. We are so glad we didn't. Who would want to drive on the day of a wine tasting?! Daniele took us everywhere we wanted in a safe way and with a comfortable van for 6 people with luggage. The first day we went to a four hour wine tasting which was excellent, both vineries chosen by Chianti Taxi. The second day Daniele took us all the way to a serie A football game in Reggio Emilia, a full day trip which was very nice of him. The third day we spent a whole day in Florence. In addition we booked transfers to and from the airport. Book your trip with Daniele and Stella and get good advise on possible changes or adjustments to your plans, answers to all your questions as well as very nice conversations in the car along the way👍

Tukerrific
My husband and I booked last minute and Danieli was very nice accommodating. It was a great experience to do the tuk tuk specially as we are trying to stay safe traveling during a pandemic, so an open air vehicle was the perfect way to get around. The wineries we visited were very nice and had arranged tastings following social distance guidelines and wearing mask when necessary. It was the perfect way to get outside of Greve and I highly recommend it.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tuk tuk in Chianti: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Tuk tuk in Chianti cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tuk tuk in Chianti take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Tuk tuk in Chianti worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tuk tuk in Chianti?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tuk tuk in Chianti suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Tuk tuk in Chianti?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tuk tuk in Chianti start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
