VEry good tour
Cery well done and easy to follow along. A great way to tour the historic sights without spending a fortune. Recommened.

Pretty good walk, but needs update
Overall the walk is good and takes you through some nice areas. But the beginning of the walk takes you through a lot of new buildings like the conference center, which was not what we expected, as we wanted to see the old town. Also in a few places the turquoise line is hard to follow and seem to end. But the last half is excellent t, when you get to walk through the old town. All in all it needs an update

Seemed like a scam.
Not sure what happened, but this seemed like a scam. Paid the money, had the app loaded, got to the starting point, and nothing on the app. Asked at the El Charro restaurant (the starting point) and no one had heard of this tour. Very disappointed.
Response from the operator: Hi Paul, very sorry to hear this! It looks like you did not get the WalknTours app. WalknTours is the app that this tour is on :). I did text the ticket instructions when you booked, and there is also a ticket you can view in the purchase. Sorry you missed those. I did text to offer you a refund but did not hear back. My goal is that you love the tour, so I'm bummed you did not take it. The tour never expires, so you can still take it anytime. Please write me at info@walkntours.com or text/call me at 617-991-3269. I'm happy to help anyway I can. Greg @ WalknTours

Well done and the city...
Well done and the city makes it easy to follow. On Sundays the museums may not be open. It's a compact walk but if you drive to the opening location you will need to go back to get your car.

A hidden gem
I was in Tucson AZ for the day and wanted something fun to do with my husband and sister. I found WalknTours on TripAdvisor. This was the perfect way to experience Old Town Tucson, its rich history and architecture. What a clever way to tour a city and see things you might otherwise drive right by! I recommend this tour and will look for it in other cities I visit in the future.
Response from the operator: Thank you! Very glad to hear you loved the tour, this made my day :) Old Town Tucson has a great story from the invention of the chimichanga to it's connection to the Mormon and so so much more. Thank you for taking the Tucson tour on WalknTours! And please do look for our tours in 100's of cities around the USA and the world.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tucson.
How much does Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS cost?
+
Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tucson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tucson is not rushed.
Is Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tucson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tucson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tucson and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tucson Historic Downtown Walking Tour Smartphone Guided App GPS start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tucson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tucson?
+
Tucson's list is Saguaro National Park drives and hikes, Sabino Canyon, Mount Lemmon sky island runs, Tombstone and Bisbee day trips, and Sonoran food tours through some of the best Mexican cooking in the country. Trail difficulty and shuttle logistics vary widely here. On Outty we rank every Tucson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tucson Food Tours- Locally Owned Downtown Walking Food Tour, Tucson Authentic Food Tour with 6 Dishes of Southwestern Flavors, Pistoleros Wild West Show Ticket, Tucson, Arizona. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tucson?
+
October to April, avoiding the summer monsoon afternoons. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tucson?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
