1. After meeting your tour conductor, travel by bus for approx. 2 hours to Tsukuba and 75 min more to Tsuchiura. Upon arrival, proceed to the viewing area and enjoy the fireworks from a reserved table and chair seating area. Located on an elevated section approximately 3 meters above the riverside, the seating offers views across the entire fireworks venue while providing the comfort of tables and chairs throughout the event. The competition has been held since 1925 and is considered one of Japan's leading fireworks events. A bento dinner prepared by a local Ibaraki railway lunchbox maker will be provided at the venue and may be enjoyed from your seat before the fireworks begin. To accommodate traffic restrictions and large crowds, arrival at the venue may be earlier than necessary, resulting in waiting time before the performance begins. Please note that the walk from the parking area to the viewing section may take approximately 15 to 20 min, and up to 30 min during busy periods.

• This tour is operated for both Japanese and foreign customers. A Japanese tour conductor will accompany the group and provide key information using a translation app. Please note that the tour conductor is not a tour guide and will focus on sharing essential information during the tour.
• This tour is scheduled to return late at night. As public transportation services, including trains and buses, may no longer be operating at the time of arrival, please ensure that you have arranged transportation home before joining the tour.
• Delays, shortenings of the tour or omissions made to the itinerary due to traffic, weather or other circumstances that are beyond the control of the tour operator are not subject to a refund.
• Please note that we are unable to accommodate special dietary requests, including food allergies. If you have specific dietary needs, we recommend making your own meal arrangements. No refunds will be provided for meals.
• Wearing clothes and shoes that let you move easily and comfortably is strongly recommended
• Infants (0-2 years old) are free of charge with no arrangement.
• Please note that no refund of the tour price will be provided if the fireworks display is interrupted or cancelled after the tour has departed due to circumstances beyond our control.
• The fireworks display may be cancelled, postponed, or modified due to severe weather, government directives, or other unforeseen circumstances. Please note that if the display is cancelled or interrupted after the tour has departed, no refund of the tour price will be provided.
• To avoid traffic restrictions and congestion before the fireworks display begins, the tour may arrive at the venue well in advance. As a result, you may be required to wait until the start of the fireworks festival.
• Please note that a walk of approximately 15 to 30 minutes may be required from the parking area to the fireworks viewing seats.
• Delays due to transportation issues or non-participation will be subject to cancellation fees. The tour will depart at the time indicated.
• You will be seated in a traditional festival-style viewing area consisting of vinyl-covered wooden platforms fitted with long tables and folding chairs.
• The seating area is located approximately 3 meters above the riverbank, providing an elevated view of the entire fireworks display.
• Each seating section includes one 180 cm table and four folding chairs within an area of approximately 220 cm × 180 cm. Seating sections are separated by aisles, with approximately 60 cm of space between neighboring sections.
• This tour concludes on-site. Transportation from the dismissal location to your home is not included in the tour price. Scheduled dismissal: Tsuchiura Station area, approximately 9:30 PM.
