Excellent Cyprus wine experience
Reno, the owner of Cyprus Winery Tours, very kindly tailored for our group a unique trip based around his Diarizos Valley Tour. Our requirements were for a two winery tastings plus lunch to follow. The day was very enjoyable, the highlight being the superb lunch at Stou kir Yianni restaurant in Omodos. The winery visits were very Informative and most of us came away with a purchased bottle or two. Many thanks to Reno for his patience and accommodation with the various pick-ups and drop offs throughout Paphos. A great tour, highly recommended! Looking forward to the next one 😀

Aphrodite must have been in love with the Olives & Wines of Cyprus
Monday, 22 December 2025, my wife and I went on the Troodos Treasures Wine, Spirits, and Village Experience tour that offers a complete immersion into wine tasting! Our first stop was at Petra tou Romiou (Rock of the Romans - as Byzantines called themselves) or Aphrodite's Rock. According to legend, this rock is the site of the birth of the Goddess Aphrodite. Gaia (Earth) asked one of her sons, Cronus (Time), to mutilate his father, Uranus (Sky/Heaven). Cronus cut off Uranus' testicles and threw them into the sea. A white foam appeared from which a maiden arose, the waves first taking her to Kythera and then bringing her to Cyprus. The cult of Aphrodite was largely derived from that of the Goddess Astarte. We continued our tour, and stopped at three local wineries, where we learned about the winemaking process. We tasted local varieties that I never tried before, while the staff at each winery explained to us the particularities of each wine label! Additionally, we visited an olive farm and museum, where we experienced a guided tasting of various Oleastro's olive oils. The tour was well-organized and provided a perfect mix of culture, history, and of course, delicious drinks. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the local flavor of Cyprus in a tasty way!
Response from the operator: Dear Niki, Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re truly delighted to hear that you enjoyed the combination of Cyprus’s beautiful sea and mountain landscapes along with its rich culture and heritage. Your recommendation means a great deal to us, and we’re especially happy to hear you’d suggest the experience to both locals and visitors — that’s exactly what we aim for. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you again soon for another memorable journey across Cyprus! Warm regards, Aurelian Gheorghian

Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paphos.
How much does Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine cost?
+
Prices start at $131 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paphos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paphos is not rushed.
Is Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paphos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paphos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paphos and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Troodos Mountains & Kykkos Monastery Tour from Paphos with Wine start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paphos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paphos?
+
On Outty we rank every Paphos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Blue Lagoon Cruise with Sightseeing from Latchi Harbour, Troodos Mountains Villages: All Inclusive Food & Wine Day Tour, Wave Dancer Half Day BBQ Cruise - All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paphos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paphos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
