Vivian was an excellent tour guide. Very personable, knowledgeable and well versed on all the sights. She is also an excellent photographer. Very interesting and informative. Definitely a must.

Very nice guide, but the loudspeaker sound was far too bad

Bus broke dow and no effort made to look for any wildlife.
2 issues with this trip. 1st the bus broke down. there was a problem with the windshield wipers. first someone came out to fix it then they sent a new bus. they organised the lunch which we we waiting to minimise lost time on the trip. this was good, except we were in a layby with no where to sit. we either stood up to eat or had to sit on the bus. The guide told us we would get some compensation if we contacted their head office. However when we did this the company was totally dismissive and said we lost no time so would get no compensation. Secondly the title says "wildlife". while I appreciate that wildlife is unpredictable this trip made no effort at all to look for any wildlife. The day after we decided to hire a car and saw reindeer as soon as we got to Kvaloy island. The guide was nice but some of her English was very accented and difficult to follow. I know its not her 1st language so don't want to be critical, but it just made it a bit difficult to get all the info. the views were lovely and we stopped to take in these views and take pictures which was nice.

However, the situation was handled immediately: assistance was sent, a replacement vehicle was arranged, and lunch was served during the waiting period specifically to minimise disruption to the itinerary. Most importantly, the full tour was completed and the advertised route and sightseeing stops were carried out. For this reason, we do not consider a refund or financial compensation appropriate. Regarding wildlife, sightings are never guaranteed. Wild animals move freely throughout the area and their presence varies from day to day and even from hour to hour. The fact that you happened to see reindeer while driving independently on Kvaløya the following day does not mean that wildlife could have been guaranteed during your tour. Our guides may point out wildlife when it is present and visible, but the tour is not a dedicated wildlife safari and we cannot artificially create wildlife sightings. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the scenery, photo stops and the guide overall, and we appreciate your feedback regarding communication. We therefore maintain our previous position that no refund is due for a tour that was completed in full.

Perfect day trip to escape Tromso and explore the region
Having been let down by an alternative operator who cancelled with just a few hours notice, we found Hello Tromso and booked onto their tour around the fjords and islands. SO pleased we did. The tour guide (Nicolai … sorry if I I have spelt that wrong) was so knowledgeable and told us so much about the landscapes, history and language of northern Norway. He took us to some beautiful places and the professional photos he took of us as we went around were shared freely at the end and were great to have. The nature walk on Sommeray was really nice and the packed lunch appreciated. Over all a great trip lead by a knowledgeable tour guide and really hope this new company does well. If you want a day away from the city, you won’t do better.
