For the poor old wine, for the rich new wine!

We were served bottled wine and, for the couple who bought the full menu of tasting and lunch, the owner was opening new wine. We saw 2 wines (the same labels as ours) being opened, but for us was served the bottle already opened a long time from the counter. The service is different for those who buy the full menu. I do not recommend for distinction in care. We're sommeliers and we were on a journey of annotation, research and disclosure blind.

    A great discovery!

Beautiful visit to the cellar and tasting on the panoramic terrace with a beautiful view of the Tuscan mountains. Visit and explanations given in French (much appreciated)! Possibility of staying on site. A great discovery!

    Great tour in panoramic setting

We had a wonderful private tour of the winery, followed by a tasting of four of their vintages. The tasting was accompanied by a lovely selection of bruschetta and antipasto. Our hosts were very gracious and the scenery looking out over the village of Pansano was just beautiful.

Visit and wine tasting in a beautiful region of the chianti classico.

The visit and tasting of the wines was made by "le cantiniere", very interesting explanations with the help of a map of Tuscany about the different wine production areas and about the production of their wines, the different varieties, the particularities of each wine they offer. I loved tasting their wines. Manuzio and riserva are excellent wines.

    Great Winery Tour!

We booked a wine tour through the GetYourGuide app (a very easy process.) We took a short bus ride from Florence through the beautiful farm country to visit the Panzanello Winery. Our tour group (six couples) was met by the owner, who gave us a warm welcome and private tour of the facility. We saw where the grapes entered the facility, the aging room (lots of barrels), and bottling. After the tour, we retired to the patio area for wine tasting along with different cheeses, meats, and bread. Oh, and olive oil too. The view of the surrounding countryside from the patio area is fabulous. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone in our tour group had a great time. The trip to the Panzanello Winery is well worth the time. It is a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon and early evening.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
