Facisinating
This was a great day out and we would thoroughly recommend it. We were picked up at 8am by Maddie (??), a very friendly guide. His knowledge and obvious love of Bali helped make our whole day a super experience. The car was very comfortable, given that some of the roads are quite narrow. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so relaxed. Quite a lot of walking but never to strenuous. Having lunch in an organic farm cooking class ( we didn't cook) was also fantastic. Also while walking through countryside at one point and just coming upon some elephants from the elephant park was spectacular. All in all an extremely worth while day and we're still talking about it all !! .

Unreal Tour of Bali with Made!
We just spent two days with the most resourceful and helpful tour guide, Made.. Bringing us to the nicest places we've seen yet in Bali. Temples, waterfalls, ponds, good food... Everything We did 2 full days of tours from Ubud going to all the top scenic spots while also a few hidden gems along the way. Highly recommend taking this tour and be sure to ask for Made Sukadana to ensure you enjoy as great an experience as we did.

Best authentiek fullday tourtrip on Bali
Our tour guide Budy picked us up at our hotels in Ubud on time. We visited , which happend out of a coincident on the local food market in Ubud , where he gave us interesting information about al the exotic vegetables and fruits the land provide, after this we drived to an authentiek village called Taro, out of the tourist zone, experienced this village in his natural existence, like watching an elementary schoolklas, how the local people work and live. We toke a little beautiful hike through the natural rice terasse ( not the high touristic once in Tegalalang ) which we appreciate a lot ! Had a wonderful lunch at a cooking farm ( less comfortable point was for us , that we had to sit together with a group of foreigner hoe had a cooking class there ? ) Further we drived to see the spectacular view of Mount Batur and surrounding, the holy spring water temple Tira Empul to end up at the tegenungan waterfalls ! Budy is a wonderful guide and safe driver , with a good sense of humor , well speaking English and gave us a lot of interesting inside information of the ordinary life of Bali and his many traditions. Very informative ! He was even open to change the tour for us. We would strongly recommend this tour with Budy !

Wounerful and authentic day trip
Our driver Mister Budiasa arrived on time to our hotel and was very professional and prepared for our day. There was so much more value to the walking tour than taking a bike. We were able to experience everything we had hoped and this tour group exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for authenticity in a trekking tour we strongly recommend this one.

One of the best tours I've ever taken!!!
Deeply personal and impressively comprehensive tour!! My best friend and I only had one full day to spend in Ubud and we chose this tour...best decision we could've possibly made! We got a chance to get away from the beaten path (which we love) and get to see how the people of Ubud really live. We visited a school and got to interact with adorable kids dancing and practicing their English by happily saying "hello!", walked through a village that contained one of the oldest temples in Bali, ventured through beautiful rice terraces (including the famous Tegallalang terraces), visited a beautiful coffee plantation and tried plenty of coffees (already paid for), had a delicious lunch at a beautiful restaurant overlooking a rice field, visited a waterfall, etc. I've been quite a few places and have taken quite a few tours, but I can honestly say this one was special!! If you're visiting Ubud and looking for a tour to take, choose this one! You won't regret it!

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $659090 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch take?
+
Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Trekking and Sightseeing tour with lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
