We had an amazing 3h tour: new paths, fun raffles, kids (9 & 12) loved it, time just flew by!

We had such a wonderful time with Lia! We booked the 3-hour “Ancient Statue” tour, and it turned out to be the highlight of our kids’ stay in Athens. Even though we had already spent three days exploring the city, Lia led us along new paths and into places we hadn’t seen before. Our children (9 and 12) were fully engaged the whole time, even though our older one speaks only basic English (and we translated a bit for the younger), language was never a barrier. The activities and raffles were fantastic, and the three hours flew by far too quickly. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! It was truly a pleasure sharing this activity with you and your family and we would be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure the next time you’re in Athens!

Excellent expérience of Team building in Athens!!!

We were 14 employees from the same company wanting to share a team building experience and this was a great success. It was very well organized by FunTourgames, the guides were very nice, taking pictures and animating the groups. The communication before the event has been excellent, all the explanations were very clear.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with FunTour Games! It was a pleasure organizing this team-building event for your group, and we’re thrilled to hear that it was a success. We hope to welcome you again soon for another exciting adventure in Athens!

Explore Athens and have a great time during vacation!

I recently went on a treasure hunt in Athens with my friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic adventure! From start to finish, the experience was exhilarating and full of surprises. The treasure hunt took us all around the city, allowing us to explore many of Athens’ famous landmarks. But what made it truly special were the hidden gems we discovered along the way—places we would never have noticed on our own. Each clue and challenge led us to new and fascinating spots, blending history with a touch of adventure. Not only did we have a blast, but we also learned a lot about Athens' rich history. The hunt was cleverly designed to incorporate interesting facts and stories about the city. The whole experience was seamless and well-organized. The clues were engaging, the routes were thoughtfully planned, and the fun was continuous. It was a perfect way to spend a day with friends, combining laughter, learning, and a bit of friendly competition. If you’re looking for a unique way to explore Athens and have a great time during vacation, I highly recommend this treasure hunt. It’s an adventure you won’t want to miss!

Great family experience

There were five of us (3 children: 13, 12, 7 years old). The tour was fun, a great mix of Greek history, looking for new clues, hiking, and great views around the Acropolis. Our guide Vasilina was super friendly, loved children, and was an expert on Greek mythology and gods. Our boys were able to converse with her in English really well. Thank you.

Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group cost?

+

Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Treasure Hunt Around Acropolis— Private Group start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

+

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
