    Beautiful day at Plitvice Lakes!

This tour was perfect for transferring us from Zagreb to Split, while incorporating a day at Plitvice Lakes. Sonja, our tour guide, was wonderful. She is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a small group of only 7 participants and Sonja was very kind to keep check in with us if we needed a break. The park is gorgeous. Don’t miss this excursion!

    MUST DO…IF you’re transferring!

First - know that this is a LONG day, with a lot of time spent on a bus or in a van. That being said - we had to get from Zagreb to Split somehow, and this was the PERFECT way to do it! Plitvice National Park is NOT to be missed, and unfortunately it just takes some time to get to! Hubby and I were picked up (with all of our luggage) on time with a few other folks making the same trek. We were driven in a very comfortable van to Plitvice, stopping on the way to take in some beautiful waterfalls and scenery. Once in Plitvice (about 1.5 hours later), we met up with a larger group/bus and our driver kindly transferred our luggage to the bus, while we joined the larger group to begin our tour through the lakes. This was absolutely breathtaking, and also - quite a workout! Be prepared for plenty of walking, stairs, incline, decline - all of it! Highly recommend sneakers or hiking shoes. I personally couldn’t have done this in flip-flops. You’ll have time to rest, eat, explore, etc…before hopping on the bus down to Split (about 2.5 - 3 hours). The bus was also plenty roomy - and I’d say 95% of folks slept the whole way down. Overall, this was an EXCELLENT tour - but i think it would have been disappointing to do this round trip from Split. Just my opinion!

    Breathtaking

Mia was great, very informative, waited for the slowpokes (me after falling in Rastoke). She continued to check and see how I was doing at different stops. My only recommendation would be for the first driver (from Zagreb) to specifically mention grabbing our snacks and bringing them on the adventure at the lakes.

Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zagreb.

How much does Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes cost?

    +

Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zagreb usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zagreb is not rushed.

Is Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 54 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zagreb, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes?

    +

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zagreb can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zagreb and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Transfer from Zagreb to Split with Entry Ticket to Plitvice Lakes start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zagreb within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zagreb?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zagreb experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Communism & Croatian Homeland War Tour, Zagreb Highlights: Old Town, WWII tunnels, Funicular & Tastings, Old Zagreb Private Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zagreb?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zagreb?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
