BEFORE YOU BOOK A TRANSFER FROM YOUR HOTEL. CONTACT TONY!

Driving and navigating in Italy can be a challenge to those not used to the system over there. Tony takes the stress an anxiety out of your travels. We used this service from Sorrento to Naples, and wish we had used it earlier. Tony communicates extremely well VIA WhatsApp. He kept us up to date on plans and arrival times. The car was spacious and clean and the conversation during our drive was entertaining. Tony planned our trip with enough time. There was a road closure on our way, but we were able to navigate around and make it to the station on time. 100% i would recommend this company.

Best Car Service....Period!

When searching for a transfer service from Napoli to Positano, searching on Reddit, I found this service. Many people were very high on it and so I decided to book it. Ciro was very courteous and was waiting for us at the end of the station in Napoli. He gave us a tour as we drove into Positano. I was very impressed with the service. After that, it was all Tony’s Car Service. My sister in law used his service to have her family driven for the day to Amalfi. We used his service again to get a day round trip to Napoli, with Raffaele, and then finally we cancelled our original Positano to Rome transfer service with another company, for…you guessed it…Tony’s Car Service. Tony was so helpful, stopping when one of the kids had to use the washroom. The front seat conversations were very entertaining and he was very professional. Overall, this company was the best. Very punctual and fast on communication via WhatsApp. Don’t waste your time searching for any other transfer companies in Amalfi/Napoli or even Rome. Tony’s Car Service is the best you’ll find.

Exceptional Service and Honest, Helpful Driver

I made a booking with Tony back on 11th March for October and right from the start he was incredibly helpful. He patiently answered all my questions at the time of booking and made the whole process so easy. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to personal reasons, but Tony was just as understanding then as well. He processed my refund quickly and without any hassle. I really appreciate his honesty, patience and professionalism — highly recommended.

Look no further!

My cousins and I (6 of us!) reserved Tony's Car Service for four separate excusrions when we traveled to Italy in October 2024. Airport transfers, Almafi Coast tour, and a trip out to visit family off the beaten path. Tony was prompt and professional; the van was comfortable and clean. We spent so much time with Tony that by the end of the trip, we became his zie (aunts!) The day we visited our family, Tony stayed for dinner and mingled pleasantly with our Italian cousins. We couldn't have asked for more! I will most certainly be using Tony for future car service in Italy.

Search no further, this is your guy!

Tony’s private car transportation was a great choice for us. We used his services multiple times. Tony was extremely reliable, very personable and always on time. His knowledge of the areas we traveled to between Naples, Sorrento and Positano ensured the quickest routes. Tony was an excellent driver, who not only got us around safely, but also took the time to explain the surrounding areas to us. I would recommend Tony to anyone looking for transportation in the areas he services.

Response from the operator: Thank you! Hope to see you soon. I am your guy! ;)

Transfer from/to Rome: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Transfer from/to Rome cost?

+

Prices start at $670 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Transfer from/to Rome take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Transfer from/to Rome worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Transfer from/to Rome?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Transfer from/to Rome suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Transfer from/to Rome?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Transfer from/to Rome start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

+

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

+

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
