About this experience
A town frozen in time. Buried under 20 feet of ash by Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. See how the Romans lived their daily lives. A town frozen in time. Buried under 20 feet of ash by Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. See how the Romans lived their daily lives. Buried next to Pompeii, this lesser-known Roman villa was the Opulent(Oplontis) vacation home of Emperor Nero's wife. Between the more famous Pompeii and Herculaneum the smaller site of Oplontis suffered the same fate. This area was dotted with many suburban villas and residences, mostly used for holidays, but also farms and bath complexes. The archaeological site today comprises two Roman villas, the Villa of Poppaea and the Villa of Lucius Crassius Tertius.

Great transfer from airport to Amalfi
We had a delay with our flight and our driver, Antonio, stayed in touch and waited for us. He was supposed to pick us up at 9:30 and it was after 2 before we were able to leave the airport. It was not a great start to the trip, but Antonio changed the vibe and did a terrific job of showing us the area on the way and giving us so much information. The Lemoncello stop in Ravello was our favorite. Would definitely book again and ask for Antonio

Warm and knowledgeable person, excellent!
Paolo, more than a driver, was a guide for our trip to the Amalfi Coast. He's a truly warm and knowledgeable person, and his stories were so much fun and made our trip so enjoyable. We were lucky to spend time with Paolo and we recommend him wholeheartedly. Thank you, Paolo, for your dedication and love for tourism; you truly make a difference, and we felt home away from home.

Great transfer experience with stopover in Pompeii
Paulo is very helpful, was there on time to pick us up, was proactive and gave us clear instructions - which made the trip smooth. In addition, he has amazing stories of the region to share, provided us lot of recommendations and things to do. Highly recommend Paulo for your car service and transfer needs. Super nice guy!!

Great trip
Giuseppe was on time and shared a wealth of knowledge about the Amalfi Coast. He was extremely safe and courteous; even stopping for a bathroom break and buying us cappuccino. The car was very clean and comfortable. Very grateful we got a driver and did not rent a car. The streets are extremely narrow and wind up and down the mountain with steep hills and crazy turns. If you don’t know the area, don’t rent a car!!!

Transfer from Pompeii to Naples
Paolo was a great guide. While it was a short ride from Pompeii to Naples, we learned a lot about culture and history about Naples and Italy. He was a very knowledgeable person and provided a great service. It was one of the best experiences during our trip in Italy.

Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Transfer From Naples/area to Amalfi coast with 2hr stop in Pompei start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
