    Train Journey from Ella to Kandy / Nanuoya is considered as one of the most scenic train trips in the world. Reserved seats comes with the pre-printed seat number and customers can board the train and occupy the relevant seat. We generally issue tickets from 2nd class reserved compartments. There is a chance that we may have to issue from other classes (1st class / 3rd class ) as well depending on the demand. If you have any specific class requirement, you can mention it in the booking. Please make sure to mention your passport number and mobile number as they are important. We will not be able to issue tickets unless the passport number is provided.

    1. Customers receive Train Tickets to travel from Ella to Ambewela station. These tickets are "Reserved Seats" which comes with seat numbers mentioned in the ticket. They can go to the relevant seat number in the train and occupy it. Reserved seats come in 1st, 2nd & 3rd classes. What we book generally is 2nd class reserved. But depending on the availability, we could issue tickets from 1st or 3rd class after informing the customer. Also if customer's have a request for specific classes they can mention it in the booking and we will do the class change without an extra cost. No Printed tickets will be issued. We will send the E-ticket by whatsapp or email. If a customer wants the printed / physical ticket for some reason, we can deliver it to their hotel on request. Customers have to show the t-ticket (In their device/ phone) at the station. Officers at the station will scan the qr code and let the customer board the train.
