Delicious and Delightful
We had so much fun learning about Greek food and tasting along the way. At two stops we sat down for multiple delicious dishes. We toured the market and nearby restaurants and shops and eateries. Our guide, Areola, was delightful and even helped us learn to use the subway for a quick return to our hotel. We took this tour on our arrival day and it was a good introduction to Greece and it helped us acclimate in a delicious way to the time change after the overnight flight. Highly recommend.

Amazing!
If you’re looking to experience Athens beyond the usual tourist spots, Taste Hidden Athena’s Flavors is an absolute must. This food tour was one of the most enriching and delicious experiences of my entire trip. It perfectly combined the city’s vibrant culture with its deep culinary traditions. From the first bite of warm koulouri to the last spoonful of traditional Greek dessert, every stop was thoughtfully curated. We sampled everything from savory spanakopita and grilled souvlaki to tangy local cheeses, olives, and honey-drenched loukoumades. Each dish told a story, and our guide Mike brought it all to life with fascinating insights and infectious enthusiasm. The tour took us through charming alleyways and lively markets, uncovering hidden gems I never would’ve found on my own. It felt more like a walk with a local friend than a typical guided tour. If you’re a food lover or just curious about Greek culture, Taste Hidden Athena’s Flavors is the perfect way to explore Athens with your taste buds. I left with a full stomach, a happy heart, and a newfound love for Greek cuisine!
