Great fascinating tour of Muralism

Amazing tour with delta. Really interesting and off the beaten path. I highly recommend. We went to a combination of museums and secret locations.

Insightful Experience

Very educational tour on not only art, but women’s impact on art as artists and muses. Our tour guide, Jaime educated us a lot on the history of art in Mexico and women’s role in that. What was especially cool about this, was that we made stops at a market and a union site to show us works of art that are women made, and not frequently mentioned. This was cool as it showed us that art is in places that you would not expect and everything has a story to it.

Outstanding tour of women in the Mexican Muralist movement

Outstanding tour. The guide was wonderful. So much in-depth information. I appreciate the perspective of women in the famous murals in Mexico City, and especially the murals by women painters themselves. I liked all the detailed information.

Congratulations to the creators of the project

The tour "Women muralists in Mexico" I found it very interesting and enjoyable. I am a senior citizen and had read something related to this topic; But to see the murals live is to see the reality. They give us an idea of the perception that women muralists had at that time about the problems of Mexico at that time. Too bad his work has long been overshadowed by the works of famous muralists, men. Now I have another vision of the ideas they embodied in the walls. The leader of the project, Jaime Morales, does not say he is a well prepared, respectful, punctual young man. I felt the tour without much tiredness and the best. I am learning a little more about the culture of Mexico, my beautiful country. You learn all your life and I'm already a senior citizen. Congratulations to the creators of the project.

A very enriching experience

I loved the tour, to find so specialized in an artistic theme with a female focus, was a pleasant surprise, I find very important the interest and effort that #Educandoconcultura have made in this tour, I congratulate them for it, I think more tours are needed and it is a very enjoyable way and a very enriching experience the way the tour is carried out, if you want to know the 1st mural painted by a Mexican artist and know more about our culture, you are in the right place. Congratulations, I would take it again 😊

How long does Tour Women Muralists : Strokes that resist Mexico City take?

Is Tour Women Muralists : Strokes that resist Mexico City worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour Women Muralists : Strokes that resist Mexico City?

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tour Women Muralists : Strokes that resist Mexico City?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
