Plaza Sotomayor
Plaza Sotomayor is a square located in the Chilean city of Valparaíso. Considered the largest civic center in the city, as well as the main axis of the Barrio Puerto, important buildings are located there, such as the Monument to the Heroes of Iquique, where the remains of Arturo Prat lie, and the Chilean Navy Building, corresponding to the old Intendancy.1 Currently it is also constituted as an important archaeological center, since in its subsoil are located the remains of the first public dock of the port built with the remains of the Esmeralda frigate captured by Thomas Cochrane from the Spanish navy.

Vina del Mar
The history of Viña del Mar begins with the arrival of the conquistadors and the division of the Peuco Valley into two large haciendas: the "Seven Sisters", named after the seven hills that are located between Cerro Castillo and Cerro Barón, and "La Viña del Mar", named after the vineyards planted on the land now occupied by the Palacio Rioja. Around 1870, the sole heiress of the lands that gave rise to Viña del Mar was Doña Mercedes Álvarez, married to José Francisco Vergara, an engineer who had come to the region to work on the railway works. It was he who drew up a project, approved on December 29, 1874, through which the city of Viña del Mar was officially founded, and five years later, the Illustrious Municipality.

Scam!
Do not use Viator!!! Tour operator never communicated with us, never picked us up. When I asked for refund all Viator said is " Sorry, can't refund". Total scam. Will never use Viator again!
Response from the operator: Hello, good day. Well, we showed up, it's you who didn't. Tell us the story. I didn't have WhatsApp, nor did the guide. He waited for you at your address, but you didn't appear. Viator issued a refund because we sent proof and photos that you didn't show up.
