Wine tasting was a joke
Ignacio our guide was very pleasant and informative during our drive time. Have him guide a better tour. Unfortunately all the shops in the town were closed, the speaker system on the boat was not completely working and not loud enough to hear the information provided. The wine tasting was not at a winery but in a rough shop were most things were over priced. I was able to by the same bottle for half the price at a grocery store.
Response from the operator: Dear Robert, First of all, we want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and are sorry that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed Ignacio’s company and knowledge during the tour—he is truly an excellent guide! Regarding your comments, we understand that the experience may not have been what you expected. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding due to translation, as we always strive to clearly communicate what is included in the tour. The experience included in this tour is a wine sampling, which is different from a wine tasting session. A wine sampling allows you to try one or more varieties of wine, providing an introduction to local flavors in a casual setting. A wine tasting session, on the other hand, typically takes place at a winery or specialized venue and involves a broader selection of wines, often paired with food such as cheeses, cured meats, or olives. We regret if this distinction was not clear beforehand. Additionally, we are sorry that some of the shops were closed during your visit. While we cannot control local store hours, we always aim to provide an enriching experience in Tigre. We have also noted your comment about the boat's speaker system and will address this with our local partners to improve future experiences. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we hope to welcome you again for a tour that exceeds your expectations. If you have any further suggestions or would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please feel free to reach out. Best regards, Sebastián Sánchez General Manager – Fontenay Tours

Good value, saw local sites and some food
Covered a lot of territory. The guide was informative and we were treated to some local food for lunch. Plenty of time to walk around and see some of the local artisans. Boat tour, although recorded in five languages, also informative and gave a good overview.
Response from the operator: Dear Mark, Thank you for sharing your experience with us on TripAdvisor! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and the Tigre navigation. It’s wonderful that you found the guide informative and appreciated the chance to try some local flavors for lunch — we always strive to offer a blend of culture, cuisine, and discovery. Exploring the local artisans and taking in the scenic boat tour are indeed highlights of this journey, and we’re delighted that they resonated with you. Your feedback about the multilingual recording is greatly appreciated as it ensures we can cater to diverse travelers like yourself. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon! If you have any suggestions or additional comments, feel free to share — your input helps us grow and improve. Warm regards, Sebastián Sánchez Director General FONTENAY TOURS

Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre cost?
+
Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour to the North Zone of Buenos Aires and Navigation in Tigre start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
