Salerno, Vietri sur la mare
The pick up point was right near the port. They took us on a beautiful journey with a lot of knowledgeable information. We had great photo ops. Laura was very sweet and friendly! I can’t remember the name of the driver, I want to say Giorgio but if I’m wrong, my apologies! They were both wonderful! I would highly recommend booking them!

The best way to experience local sites
Enzo & Laura were fantastic guides! The tuk tuk tour was amazing, and Enzo’s private tuk tuk rides are the best way to travel the Amalfi Coast for shorter distances. Highly recommend!

A must-do when in Vietri sul Mare
This tour was the best way to discover the hidden corners of Vietri sul Mare that we never would have found on our own. I highly recommend booking this as soon as you arrive—it was a total game-changer for our stay! It helped us get our bearings immediately and feel like locals right from the start. A huge shout-out to Antonino and his guide, their local tips were invaluable for organizing the rest of our travels around the coast. If you’re looking for an authentic connection with the territory you can't miss out!
Response from the operator: Hello and thank you for your review. This is exactly our goal: to help you experience Vietri sul Mare authentically. See you soon. Bye!

Excellent
I and my group had a wonderful experience at Chagga Village. Lauwo and the team welcomed us and extended great hospitality to us. They were friendly and didn't hesitate to engage with us. Their facility is new and lends itself to the program that they have developed which was very informative. The activities were well suited for the cultural experience and even included a short walk to visit an auntie in a neighbouring village. This cultural interaction will be one of the highlights of the tour for my group. Well done!
Response from the operator: Hi, thanks for the review! However, you had the wrong experience. We're in Vietri sul Mare. See you soon.

Great afternoon tea
Had afternoon tea here with my daughter on Tuesday, the inn is very comfy and welcoming, the staff are great. The afternoon tea was amazing, and very reasonable to. I've also been with my husband, I had cheese and onion pie and salad it was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this inn, as a couple or with family and friends it's a great place.
Response from the operator: Ciao e grazie per la recensione. Credo che però abbia sbagliato attività. La nostra non è una locanda. A presto!

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.
How much does Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk) cost?
+
Prices start at $167 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk) take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.
Is Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk)?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour of Vietri and its villages on board the Ape Calessino (tuktuk) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Salerno?
+
On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Salerno?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Salerno?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
