Al Andalus Tours do not trust

Al Andalus Tours site to avoid. Very bad experience. You pay a lot and the service is not guaranteed. Dishonest organization and not trustworthy.

    Royal palace of Alcázar

We visited here as part of our tour of cathedral then here . You need your id to get in as it is a royal palace and then you are checked by security but it is worth undergoing these small measures . There is so much to see here and our guide was again very good and showed us all the best bits . If you like game of thrones then visiting here is a must as you get to see where the scenes in drone were filmed such as the water gardens and the huge bath . The ceilings are made of gold and the gardens are home to at least 10 peacocks as well as ducks . After the tour we left to wander around on our own for a song as we wanted . This is a definately must if visiting Seville it’s worth the money and the time even in 38 degree heat . It has a cafe as well .

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing such a detailed review! We are delighted to know that you enjoyed your visit to the Royal Alcázar of Seville and that your guide helped you discover the most special parts of the monument. It is wonderful to read that, even with the heat, you felt the experience was worth both the time and the price. The Alcázar is truly full of history, beautiful details, gardens and unique corners, and we are glad you also enjoyed the Game of Thrones filming locations and the free time to explore afterwards. Thank you for recommending the visit so warmly. You can discover more experiences at www.mytoptour.org/en/ Best regards, The My Top Tour team

    Beautiful Alcazar

The oldest palace in Europe that is still in use. Purchase tickets online in advance, as same-day on-site tickets are very limited. The palace is Mudéjar architecture, a style resulting from the coexistence of Muslim and Christian cultures, featuring intricate tile work, geometric patterns, and arches. It dates back to the 11th century and is an UNESCO site. Don’t get confused and miss the gardens because they are truly the most stunning part. The signage is not the best and it’s easy to get turned around with the crowds- we missed parts. Double check the small map!

    Good Guide and Amazing Olace

Our guide was great but the headsets not so much. It was difficult to hear much of what she was saying. We tried to keep close to her. It is an amazing place and worth seeing. Skipping the line is a big bonus

Good guide but hard to find

It was a good tour and the guide was very knowledgeable but the meeting point was hard to find with no obvious way to find the tour. Had to ask around for 20 minutes before wr found the right one. Need to do better

Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville cost?

    +

Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville take?

    +

Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tour of the Royal Alcazar of Seville start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
