Very cute experience!!
Very positive experience. The guide was very kind and attentive to our needs. Due to a personal problem of ours, he stayed half an hour longer than the scheduled time.

We just got scammed on our only day in Florence
This is a scam. Do not book with this group. We arrived to starting location for the tour and someone called us and told us that Viator had messed up and was supposed to change our starting time to 9:45 am but did not (our tour started at 10:00 am), and that the group had left because their tickets booked through other platforms apparently had a start time of 9:45am and people in the group had a train after…. They blamed it all on Viator saying Viator changed our starting time, but the start time on our tickets was always 10 AM. After the individual who called us gave a lengthy explanation of how it was Viator’s fault, he said he’d see if he could message the tour guide to see if the guide could give us the tour after at 11:15 AM (surprise the guide could not). We asked about refunds and they said they’d have to petition Viator, waiting to see if a refund actually comes through. Don’t book with this company.
Response from the operator: We fully understand your disappointment regarding the scheduling error, and we are deeply sorry that you were unable to join the tour. We contacted you at approximately 9:45 AM. Although it was not possible to arrange another departure immediately afterwards, we offered to reschedule the tour for later that afternoon or for one of the following days. Unfortunately, these alternatives were not compatible with your travel plans. We therefore processed a full refund in record time. At approximately 11:30 AM, we sent you written confirmation and screenshots via WhatsApp proving that the refund had already been issued. We sincerely apologize for the scheduling and communication mistake and have taken steps to ensure that it does not happen again. However, an operational error that was promptly addressed, with alternative dates offered and an immediate, documented refund, cannot fairly be described as a “scam.” Such an accusation is extremely damaging to our legitimate business and conflicts with the many positive reviews we have earned over time across all our tours. Those reviews reflect our long-standing commitment to operating seriously, transparently and professionally.

Loved the bike tour
Ivan was an amazing guide. We were able to cover a great amount of area in short amount of time. And the landmarks were well chosen and explained properly. I would prefer it over walking tour any day.

Great local tips
I like to kick off every city visit in Europe & US with a bike tour. It’s a great way to get to know quieter streets that get you to major sites. This was no exception. Ivan, our guide was a very knowledgeable local with great tips and stories. He was first class! The bike situation was a bit eh… especially since we started at a bike shop. Certainly the bike was adequate transport, but barely. I never expect new or fancy but they seemed a bit cobbled together. The bike didn’t negate the fact that Ivan was a really great guide.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle cost?
+
Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici -by a storyteller, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class with Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle?
+
Included: Bicycle use. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle?
+
Bike shop Scarpelli Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle offered in?
+
It is offered in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Tour of Florence by Vintage Bicycle wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
