    Fun, but...

We had a good time but I was really disappointed how unprofessional the company was. First, we were given a pick up time of 15minutes before the tour started, which was 8:15am. At 7:15am I checked my phone and noticed a WhatsApp message that the pickup was at 7:30am. I don't ever use WhatsApp. I was lucky to have it installed on my phone. Why couldn't the tour operator email me with the pickup time a day or two before? I messaged the tour operator back if we could be few minutes late and was told no. One of our group members was 2 minutes late and our driver was furious, yelling at someone on the phone and blaming "los clientes"... he couldn't speak any English. Then he stopped the car for couple of minutes in the middle of traffic because he was very upset due to traffic being bad that morning, making our delay even worse. We switched from a private transport to a bus half way. I am not going to complain about the quality of the bus, but you get what you pay for, so I shouldn't have expected much. Once we got to the boogie place we waited for an hour to actually start the tour. This wait was a bit excessive. We spent a lot of time at the local casa tipica, not enough time at the cenote cave and not enough time on Macao beach. We weren't given any water bottles either. The buggies were fun, no issues them breaking down on us. There were only couple of places with mud, otherwise we mainly drove them on the road and dirt. The plus was prepurchasing picture package, so we didn't have to worry about taking our own.

    Wish washy experience

The locations were what we expected. Fun and interesting. The reason we will not go to this company again, is after spending money on marked up water shoes for the cenote, we were givin the worst piece of crap buggy anyone could ask for. This thing was a workout to turn and brake. We also never recieved the free bottles of water that each ticket was supposed to get, so I would bring your own. Each stop was full of pushy sales people who do not stop. So be prepared to say NO a lot. The village you stop at first is to sample things they make there (I think). I’m just annoyed. Quality of vehicle was horrible even tho they had tons of brand new buggy’s there. And the pushy people at every stop was a huge annoyance. Spend more and go with a better company if the money isn’t a big deal to you.

    0 STARS - AVOID

Absolutely diabolical !!! To begin with was waiting on transport for 40mins before leaving, to drive 2 streets , to have to change vehicle. Got to the tour operator , waited around for 2 hours. Kept getting pulled aside for upselling , then told to sit back down. Every-time we asked someone when we were leaving it was 5 minutes. Unprofessional staff who don’t care about you as consumers!! Absolutely awful, ended up leaving and getting an uber back to hotel. Waste of time and complete waste of money! AVOID !!! Worth paying extra or booking through your airline !!

Waste of time. Never did activity.

Never did activity. Booked for 10:30am, left buggy place by ourselves at 12:30 because activity never started. Just kept trying to upsell and saying 5 minutes. Waste of time and money. Paid for uber back to hotel. Loads of people complaining there.

Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 85 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote?

    +

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tour In buggy from Punta Cana with Cenote start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
